Taking the green mission forward! 🌱
Under the Youth-Led Action on Tree Plantation, young changemakers are contributing to a cleaner and healthier environment by planting trees in their local communities. Each group’s effort adds another step towards a sustainable, greener Pakistan.

This activity is conducted under the British Council’s Pakistan Youth Leadership Initiative (PYLI) project.

The Pakistan Youth Leadership Initiative (PYLI) project is a three-year initiative led by the British Council Pakistan in partnership with Education Above All Foundation’s Reach Out to All (ROTA) Programme. The project is being implemented in partnership with the Government of Pakistan’s Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, Higher Education Commission, WaterAid Pakistan, UNDP Pakistan, local civil society organisations and public universities. The PYLI project aims to train 90,000 youth from universities and communities in the Global Citizenship Education, leadership, and Climate Action curriculum.

The implementation of YLA on Solid Waste Management took place in Saif Town, where young leaders worked together to promote cleaner streets, responsible waste disposal, and sustainable community practices. ✨🙌

🌍 Day 03 | From Awareness to Action

On Day 3 of the Pakistan Youth Leadership Initiative (PYLI), young climate leaders explored how ecosystems, gender, and critical thinking shape climate solutions.

Through interactive sessions like the A–Z Relay, PhotoVoice Climate Walk, and Problem Tree Analysis, participants deepened their understanding of community challenges and learned how to design impactful, youth-led climate actions.

Momentum is building — and so is their leadership. 🌱
