INSTITUTIONAL OBJECTIVES:

ACT- as a body that engages with its stakeholders including underprivileged communities through effective and efficient coordination mechanisms. ASSIST- local organizations in resource mobilization so that they can play an effective role in the holistic development of communities in Pakistan. FACILITATE & STRENGTHEN – local organizations by building their capacities for improved output and impact. SERVE- as a channel of communication between those that are isolated from mainstream markets, to bridge the gap for socio-economic development. COORDINATE- emergency relief work with local partner organizations for timely response to help those in need. AWARENESS- for the marginalized communities so that they have adequate information and are able to gain government and non-government support in meeting their needs

Play for Purpose: Building a Better World Through Sport | Umerkot

1. Play for Purpose Seminar | 27 September 2026
PPI, in collaboration with Desert Care Challenge (DCC), organized the “Play for Purpose” seminar in Umerkot, bringing together around 80 participants from 20 sports teams and groups across Umerkot, Kunri, Mirpurkhas, Sanghar, and Tando Jam. The seminar highlighted sport’s role in developing life skills, mutual respect, peace, harmony, and stronger communities, while discussing barriers faced by women and girls. Testimonies from Santosh, Asad, and Raja demonstrated how DCC helped young people move from cricket towards professional opportunities and encouraged them to look “beyond the boundary.”

2. Umerkot Champions Trophy | 28 September 2026
The visit included the Umerkot Champions Trophy final, where Mr. Asher Shehzad and other distinguished guests attended as chief guests. Mr. Asher Shehzad presented trophies and shields to participating teams and winners, celebrating their talent and commitment to sport.

3. Community Exposure Visit | Umerkot & Tharparkar | 27–29 September 2026
The exposure visit provided an opportunity to engage with local communities in Umerkot and Tharparkar and gain firsthand insight into their resilience, livelihoods, and development challenges. The team interacted with community members and women involved in skills development, savings groups, livestock, sewing, and other local initiatives, highlighting the importance of community-led solutions and sustainable livelihoods.

Advocacy and Local Fundraising Training | 20–23 September 2026
As part of PPI’s Capacity Building Project, Organization for Development and Peace (ODP) conducted a four-day Advocacy and Local Fundraising Training at St. Deny’s Retreat and Renewal Centre, Murree, for 25 emerging and second-line leaders (18 male, 7 female) from Women Empowerment Consortium partners and ministry networks.
The training responded to a key consortium need: strengthening partners’ ability to mobilize local resources, build strategic alliances, and sustain advocacy beyond donor-funded projects. Using Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD), participants learned to identify and mobilize existing community assets, including people, associations, institutions, physical spaces, and local connections, as foundations for community-led transformation and sustainable Kingdom impact in Pakistan.
Participants represented REEDS, LFTN, LGF, WPTGF, SHARE, ODP Youth Networks, and PELN from Multan, Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalpur, Khanewal, Lahore, Gujranwala, and Rawalpindi.

Holistic Development Training | Sahiwal
From 8–10 September 2026, Pakistan Partnership Initiative (PPI), in collaboration with SOW Welfare Society, conducted a 3-Day Training on Holistic Development in Sahiwal, bringing together 35 participants from different churches and ministries.
The training equipped participants with a stronger understanding of the biblical and theological foundations of holistic ministry, while helping them connect faith with practical responses to the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of individuals and communities. Through interactive sessions and practical learning, participants explored how to apply holistic principles within their ministries, strengthen personal spiritual growth, and serve their communities through an integrated approach to faith and everyday life.
The training created space for church and ministry leaders to learn, reflect, share experiences, and develop practical insights that can be carried forward into their local ministries and communities. This initiative reflects a shared commitment to equipping local leaders, strengthening ministries, and fostering sustainable, faith-driven transformation at the community level.

A one-day training session for Pastors and Ministry Leaders on Biblical Financial Stewardship was organized on 11 September 2026 under the Pakistan Rescued Slaves Spiritual Transformation Program at David Villa, Faisalabad. The training session attended by 46 Pastors, Elders, and Ministry Leaders representing different Christian denominations from different districts including Faisalabad, Shahkot, Gojra, Sheikhupura, Sahiwal, Lahore, Kasur, Multan, and Khanewal.

The training aimed to strengthen the capacity of church leaders to understand and promote biblical principles of financial stewardship, responsible resource management, household financial planning, generosity, and accountability. Particular emphasis was placed on applying these principles in the lives of families transitioning from slavery to freedom.

Mr. Nadeem Matto provided an overview of the program, including its overall objectives, implementation approach, engagement strategy, and the role of pastors and ministry leaders in accompanying rescued families throughout their transition. He also explained the approach to pastoral home visits, family mentoring, prayer and spiritual support, regular follow-up, and continued engagement with rescued families.

The training sessions were facilitated by Pastor Ahsan Nazeer, Mr. Shahzad Gill, Pastor Asif Masih, and Ms. Robina Irfan, who shared practical biblical and contextual perspectives on financial stewardship and its relevance to families and local church ministry.

The participating pastors and ministry leaders expressed their commitment to actively supporting the Families Set Free Program and contributing to the spiritual transformation of rescued families. They agreed to strengthen their engagement through pastoral visits, prayer, family mentoring, discipleship, encouragement, and continued follow-up with rescued families in their respective areas.
The training session served as an important step in strengthening the partnership between PPI and local churches, equipping church leaders to accompany and support rescued families as they move toward spiritual, social, and economic transformation.

On 29 August 2026, God’s Mercy Foundation, in collaboration with Pakistan Partnership Initiative (PPI), brought together 50 Christian athletes from 10 cities and 22 sporting disciplines for a one-day seminar focused on faith, fellowship, and the development of Christian sports ministry in Pakistan. The engagement provided a platform for athletes to share their challenges, aspirations, and support needs.

Through participatory tools including the Problem Tree exercise, problem-solving, and goal setting, participants explored practical solutions related to coaching, equipment, scholarships, mentorship, leadership, and career development. The process also enabled the partner organization to better understand the needs of Christian athletes and identify ways to strengthen its future programming, outreach, and support mechanisms.

The initiative reflects PPI’s commitment to strengthening its partners’ capacity to design and implement more relevant, inclusive, and sustainable ministries. Beyond sporting achievement, participants were encouraged to recognize their potential as leaders, mentors, and role models, contributing to a connected and empowered community of Christian athletes and strengthening the role of sports ministry in the holistic development of Christian youth in Pakistan.

Building Partnerships. Serving Communities 🇵🇰🤝🇩🇪

Pakistan Partnership Initiative (PPI) was honoured to welcome Hon. Mir Murad Baluch, Honorary Consul of Germany in Quetta, for an engaging dialogue on strengthening partnerships and expanding opportunities for communities across Balochistan.
Our discussion explored practical avenues for collaboration in humanitarian assistance, community development, livelihoods, capacity building, and support for vulnerable communities.
What makes this engagement particularly meaningful is the shared commitment to move from conversation to action, bringing together expertise, resources, networks, and local knowledge to develop sustainable initiatives that respond to real community needs.

We deeply value the Honorary Consul’s vision and commitment to exploring a joint initiative in Balochistan. PPI looks forward to building on this understanding and working together to create tangible opportunities, strengthen communities, and contribute to a more inclusive and resilient Balochistan.

Through the collaborative efforts of Pakistan Partnership Initiatives (PPI) and Christian True Spirit (CTS), a 3-day training in Murree provided a meaningful space for reflection, healing, personal growth, and leadership development.

The journey encouraged participants to look within, embrace their identity and strengths, understand their rights, and move forward with renewed confidence, resilience, and hope.

Together, PPI and CTS are nurturing stronger, empowered women equipping them to move forward with dignity, purpose, and a renewed vision for their future.
