PFOWA Outreach Initiative Bringing Hope to Shergarh village near Mardan, KPK ❤️
In one of the remote villages of KPK, Shergarh, hundreds of children are battling thalassemia, a condition that requires regular blood transfusions for survival. For many families, the recurring cost of these life-saving treatments is overwhelming.
Upon learning about this urgent need, PFOWA stepped forward through its outreach program to extend support where it matters most. We are humbled to share that 400 blood bags (250ml/500ml with kits) have been donated to help these children receive the care they desperately need.
This contribution aims to ease the financial burden on families and ensure that these young fighters continue to get timely transfusions without added stress.
Every drop counts. Every effort matters. Together, we can bring hope, relief, and a chance at a healthier future.

As part of its ongoing commitment to community welfare, PFOWA donated a pediatric clinical treadmill to the Physiotherapy Department of Umeed-e-Noor (a center for Special Children).
This essential equipment will play a vital role in pediatric physical therapy, neurological rehabilitation and balance training, especially for children with cerebral palsy and other neuromotor challenges. By helping improve gait, strength, and mobility, it will directly contribute to enhancing the quality of life for many children with special needs.
At PFOWA, we remain committed to supporting initiatives that bring hope, healing, and brighter futures for our children.

Members of the PFOWA Executive Committee visited PIMS Children Hospital, where they distributed gift bags filled with books, games, toys, and food items, bringing smiles to the children’s faces.
The visit also included a meaningful meeting with the hospital’s doctors and consultants. Seeing the children’s happiness made the visit deeply heart-warming and meaningful.

The occasion was further enriched by an enlightening and engaging session by Dr. Amna Batool, Consultant Dermatologist, and Dr. Zunera Jehanzeb, Consultant Medical Specialist & Endocrinologist from Shifa International Hospital .Their informative talks and interactive Q&A session were highly appreciated and provided valuable insights to everyone present.

Deputy Prime Minster and Foreign Minister Mr. Ishaq Dar graced the occasion as chief guest. We were also honoured by the presence of Foreign Secretary Ambassador Amna Baloach. Our gratitude goes out to all participants, volunteers, helpers, and visitors whose efforts and presence made a meaningful difference.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to more than 30 embassies for their vibrant involvement, remarkable spirit, and wholehearted commitment throughout the event.
