Celebrating Excellence, Inspiring Futures

PFOWA proudly held a Scholarship Ceremony to honour and encourage high-achieving students who have excelled through their dedication, hard work, and determination.
Scholarships were awarded to position holders from Class 5, Class 8, Class 10, college and university, recognising their outstanding academic achievements and supporting them in continuing their educational journey.
As part of PFOWA’s commitment to its charitable causes, supporting education and empowering deserving students remains one of the organisation’s meaningful priorities. By appreciating young achievers and extending a helping hand, PFOWA hopes to encourage them to dream bigger, work harder and contribute positively to society.
It was truly a proud and heartwarming moment to see so many bright faces with bright futures ahead. Their success is a reminder that talent, when supported and encouraged, can flourish into great possibilities.

A farewell was hosted for the outgoing members of the PFOWA Executive Committee, Sumayya Andrabi, Ayesha Aamir, Saima Tipu, Saleha Zakir and Anum Zahra, as most of them embark on new journeys following their husbands’ postings.
The occasion was a warm tribute to their valuable contributions, dedication and commitment to PFOWA during their tenure. It was filled with heartfelt sentiments and cherished memories.
Their presence, friendship and contributions will certainly be missed. Wishing them all the very best for the exciting chapters ahead! 🌸✨

As part of the second phase of its biannual cheque distribution, the PFOWA Executive Committee distributed financial assistance cheques to widows facing financial hardship, following the first phase held in January 2026, in keeping with its commitment to supporting low-income families of former employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
This biannual initiative reflects PFOWA’s continued dedication to providing meaningful support and standing by those in need with compassion and dignity.

PFOWA continues to support children through its welfare and outreach initiatives.

An electric wheelchair was gifted to a child with thalassemia, enabling greater independence and helping the child attend a special school.
As part of another outreach activity, PFOWA distributed school bags and juice boxes to children at an orphanage, adding a touch of joy while supporting their everyday needs.

These small efforts aim to create a positive impact and brighter opportunities for children in need.

PFOWA Outreach Initiative Bringing Hope to Shergarh village near Mardan, KPK ❤️
In one of the remote villages of KPK, Shergarh, hundreds of children are battling thalassemia, a condition that requires regular blood transfusions for survival. For many families, the recurring cost of these life-saving treatments is overwhelming.
Upon learning about this urgent need, PFOWA stepped forward through its outreach program to extend support where it matters most. We are humbled to share that 400 blood bags (250ml/500ml with kits) have been donated to help these children receive the care they desperately need.
This contribution aims to ease the financial burden on families and ensure that these young fighters continue to get timely transfusions without added stress.
Every drop counts. Every effort matters. Together, we can bring hope, relief, and a chance at a healthier future.

As part of its ongoing commitment to community welfare, PFOWA donated a pediatric clinical treadmill to the Physiotherapy Department of Umeed-e-Noor (a center for Special Children).
This essential equipment will play a vital role in pediatric physical therapy, neurological rehabilitation and balance training, especially for children with cerebral palsy and other neuromotor challenges. By helping improve gait, strength, and mobility, it will directly contribute to enhancing the quality of life for many children with special needs.
At PFOWA, we remain committed to supporting initiatives that bring hope, healing, and brighter futures for our children.

Holy month of Ramadan is here and the atmosphere is filled with love, care and the spirit of sharing. In keeping with PFOWA traditions, this year too,we distributed Ramadan ration packages among the needy ones.We appreciate the efforts of PFOWA staff, and all those helping hands who took part to make this happen.
