We had a lovely time hosting the Islamabad Foreign Women's Association .pk

It was a pleasure sharing the spirit of through , , and meaningful conversations. The bracelet-making activity was a wonderful way to connect, It was especially heartwarming to see our guests enjoying the colourful range of , from mugs and t-shirts to , culturally inspired pieces, taking a little piece of Pakistan’s colours with them.

Special thanks to the President Ms. Nompumelelo Abu Basutu, Vice President Ms. Alice and Secretary Ms. Amy Schoell for organizing this wonderful visit.

IFWA Art Group organized a trip to Lok Mela today. Lok Mela is the biggest and most awaited folk festival in Islamabad organized by the National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage, Lok Virsa. We had a chance to see traditional music and dance, and enjoyed shopping as well as trying different cuisines from all regions in Pakistan.

On Thursday November2, IFWA participated in the “All Flags Together” (AFT 2023), an event organized by DevCom Pakitan at PNCA. The IFWA stalls offered a delightful array of international cuisines, including Moroccan meatballs, Italian mini pizzas, Malaysian honeycomb cake, nasi lemak, spring rolls with delicious Yemeni sauce, Danish meatballs, Belgian waffles, and Bahraini kebabs.

Daniela Draugelis, IFWA Member and intercultural intelligence consultant, highlighted how understanding cultural differences fosters appreciation of cultural assets, leading to cooperation, understanding, and trust.
