*Another Issue Resolved — Through Persistence and Follow-Up*
*Alhamdulillah, another long-pending issue is finally being resolved.*
For quite some time, **Residents Welfare Association Islamabad ® (RWA Islamabad)** has been pursuing the removal of dumped/offloaded material along the approximately 2-kilometre stretch between Gate No. 1 and Gate No. 2 of B-17 Multi Gardens, near the Sangjani Weigh Station.
After formal correspondence, applications, meetings, site visits and continued follow-up, **the material is finally being picked up from the site today.** Those travelling on G.T. Road towards Margalla Avenue Road can see the work taking place.
We share this not to claim credit. **Community work should never be about credit; it should be about results.** But it is important for residents to understand that getting an issue resolved is very different from simply raising it on WhatsApp or social media.
Real change requires knowing **who to approach, what procedure to follow, putting matters formally on record, and then having the patience and persistence to follow them through.**
Alhamdulillah, being a formally registered association and NGO gives **RWA Islamabad** an institutional platform through which residents' concerns can be taken up with government departments and the district administration.
This is also why understanding **your rights, your institutions and the proper channels available to you as a citizen** is so important.
Our journey is not about competing over who gets the credit. It is about creating a more aware, organised and engaged community, and strengthening the culture of democratic participation in MPCHS.
**If you stand with the right people and the right principles, change will come. It may take time, but it will come.**
Today, this is one small example of that belief turning into a visible result.
