The National Futures Council of Pakistan Established
Our founder Tariq Khattak vision has come to light. Creating change from the grass root to the one's whose words matter.
Pakistan doesn't lack people who care about its future.
It lacks the institutional infrastructure to organize that care into decisions.
The National Futures Council of Pakistan has been established in Peshawar, a permanent national platform for structured policy dialogue.
Not a forum. Not a conference series. Not another well-intentioned gathering that ends with a group photograph and no follow-through.
A council. With a method. With outputs. With the institutional access to make those outputs matter.
The founding consortium — Parvaz Foundation in support and as a cofounder Aether, provincial lead, Governance Forum, 𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞'𝐬 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐮𝐦, Rafaqat Babar & Company - Chartered Accountants
has not launched an initiative, it has made a structural commitment.
Its first output is the Peshawar Declaration, the founding document of what becomes a national standard.
Session by session. Province by province. Until the record speaks for itself.
KP is where it begins deliberately.
The province has borne, with a directness most of Pakistan has not, fifteen years of security disruption, institutional pressure, and economic constraint. That history makes KP not merely an urgent case, but the most demanding test of whether this model holds. If the framework works here, it works anywhere.
KP is the first chapter. It will not be the last.
Its outputs are designed to inform decisions not document conversations.
The distinction matters. So does the discipline required to maintain it.
