Sindh Rural Support Program (SRSP) Economists, academicians, social workers and progressive farmers formed Sindh Rural Support Program

To promote sustainable development in Sindh through community participation to reduce poverty, hunger and unemployment is the vision of the SRSP.

-Objectives

• Mobilize disadvantageous social groups and women, such as haris (peasants), small farmers, landless labourers and other poor people for their socio-economic empowerment
• Enhance capacity of communities, NGOs and civil society organizati

ons through trainings, workshops, seminars and learning tours
• Provide micro credit and for poverty alleviation
• Facilitate to increase social infrastructure (health, education, water, alternate energy, roads) through participatory interventions
• Engage in research and advocacy for sustainable development, women empowerment and poverty alleviation
• Support the communities for conservation of natural resources
• Promote democracy, human rights and rule of law
