Isra Social Welfare Society (ISWS) is a charitable welfare organization
established on 10th of January 2013 at the university level. It gives a fine platform for the students of Isra University to actively take part and help the local community and environment by providing basic facilities to the most underprivileged and marginalized communities. ISWS aims at giving a better life style to the peop
le living in slums, help the children with special needs and create awareness and realization amongst people of our society, we define it as a society where the gap between the rich and the poor is enormous and indefinable. Majority of people can avail the luxuries, eat out twice a day, arrange extravagantly expensive weddings and on the other hand there are millions of those who suffer from starvation, diseases, and poverty. It seems almost unreal at how much money is going to these luxuries while majority of the country lives below the poverty line. ISWS provides the opportunity for students of Isra University to act as vital members of the community, share their resources with others and develop skills and leadership abilities while creating meaningful & positive change in their environments.
