Art Beyond Borders: Soulful Stories Through Music & Lens

SAAR Vocational and Technical Training Institute (VTTI), Jamshoro, had the privilege of hosting an enriching session titled “Art Beyond Borders: Soulful Stories Through Music and Lens” with distinguished facilitators Mr. Pieere Alain Baud and Mr. Ally Bossin.

The session provided participants with a deeper understanding of how music and visual storytelling serve as powerful mediums to transcend cultural and geographical boundaries. It highlighted the role of creative expression in amplifying unheard voices, preserving lived experiences, and fostering empathy across diverse communities.

Art Beyond Borders: Soulful Stories Through Music and Lense

SAAR Vocational & Technical Training Institute (VTTI) had the privilege of hosting an inspiring and thought-provoking workshop session with our distinguished guest speakers Mr. Pierre Alain Baud and Aly Bossin.

The session explored the powerful connection between mental and emotional wellbeing and the role of soulful art, music, and culture in shaping our thoughts, emotions, and perspectives. Through engaging discussions, visual storytelling, and reflections on Sufi music and photography, participants experienced how art transcends boundaries and nurtures inner peace.

The speakers beautifully highlighted how creative expression can:
Encourage self-reflection
Strengthen cultural identity
Influence positive thinking and human connection

Our participants, especially young learners, actively engaged in dialogue, sharing their own interpretations of art and its impact on their lives.

This session reaffirmed SAAR’s commitment to holistic learning where education is not only about skills, but also about healing, expression, and humanity.

Students are already using AI. But most are copying and pasting without thinking twice. This 90-minute interactive workshop changes that. Led by international education innovator Dylan Wray, students will work hands-on with two purpose-built AI learning apps that teach them how to communicate with AI intentionally and howto question what it gives back. They will learn a practical framework for writing prompts that actually work, then practice investigating AI responses by pushing back, probing for gaps, and building the critical thinking habits that separate thoughtful AI use from lazy AI use. The session closes with students applying what they have learned in real time on tools like ChatGPT and Claude, turning new thinking into immediate practice.
It is not about whether young people will use AI. It is about whether they will use it well.
What students will walk away with:
1. A clear framework for writing intentional, high-quality AI prompts - moving beyond vague requests to structured thinking that gets genuinely useful results.
2. The ability to critically question AI outputs - spotting overconfidence, identifying gaps, and knowing which follow-up questions actually matter.
3. Real practice on live AI tools - so the skills stick beyond the workshop and transfer straight into schoolwork and everyday use.

Saar organization officially announces our vocational training institute addition in Jamshoro.

Saturday is the International Day of Education.

Education is a human right. Yet, in many countries, young women and girls continue to face discrimination and marginalization when it comes to accessing education.

To achieve a better future for all, we must ensure inclusive access to quality education.

Breaking the Silence – Empowering Voices, Creating Change
Venue: The Institute of Management and Entrepreneur, The Sports Tower, Hyderabad

Today, we hosted an impactful “Breaking the Silence” session, bringing together students, youth, and community members to discuss the barriers that prevent girls and young women from accessing justice in our context.

Sannum Habibullah Kabooro highlighted the deeply rooted social, cultural, and systemic obstacles that silence survivors and limit their ability to seek justice. The conversation shed light on how stigma, fear, and lack of support systems continue to hinder young women’s rights and protection.

Advocate Kumar conducted an insightful session focusing on the practical hurdles faced in the justice process — including costs, distance, lack of legal aid, documentation requirements, language barriers, digital access issues, disability, stigma, and institutional bias. His session helped participants understand the multi-layered challenges within the legal framework.

The discussion was powerfully moderated by Mir Meer Asif Aziz and Sahito, who guided the conversation with depth and clarity, ensuring all voices were heard.

This event marks another step in our collective effort to raise awareness, build empathy, and strengthen pathways to justice for girls and young women in our communities.
