Great Manners Welfare Organization proudly participated in the Provincial TVET Sector Dialogue on Green Skills On 15 April 2026 at Pearl Continental Hotel Karachi Ms. Samreen Solangi President of Great Manners Welfare Organization had the honor of actively participating in the prestigious Provincial TVET Sector Dialogue to Promote Green Skills under the theme Empowering a Sustainable Future.
This high-level dialogue focused on strengthening the TVET system and promoting green skills for a sustainable and resilient future. The event brought together key stakeholders, policymakers development partners and experts to share insights on integrating environmental sustainability into skills development.

Today the team of A-Save Organization Agribusiness support fund visited the office of Great Manners Welfare Organization (GMWO) and held a productive meeting with the President Ms. Samreen Solangi.
During the meeting discussions were held regarding womens empowerment skills development and future collaboration The team also conducted a baseline survey to assess community needs and ensure effective planning for upcoming initiatives.
InshaAllah a Digital Skills Training Program will soon be launched for the skilled women of Town Committee Husri enabling them to market their handmade products online and increase their income through digital platforms.
This initiative marks an important step toward economic empowerment of women and sustainable community development.

Meeting on National Immunization and Disease Prevention Campaign A coordination meeting was held at the DHO (District Health Officer) Office to discuss participation and joint efforts in the National Immunization and Disease Prevention Campaign focusing on polio measles and other infectious diseases.
Great Manners Welfare Organization (GMWO) actively participated in the meeting along with other relevant organizations The purpose of the meeting was to strengthen coordination and collective action to ensure the effective implementation of the national health campaign at the community level During the meeting, it was mutually agreed that Great Manners Welfare Organization along with partner organizations would cooperate with polio teams in their respective Union Councils providing support in community mobilization awareness-raising and field-level coordination.
Participants emphasized that through joint efforts and collaboration it is possible to protect childrens health and achieve sustainable results in the fight against polio measles and other preventable diseases.

Skill Development & Green Skills Capacity Building Session 06 February 2026 Hyderabad
The Great Manners Welfare Organization (GMWO) actively participated in a capacity-building session organized by RDF under the Skill Up Plus TVET System Strengthening Project.
The session focused on Pakistans TVET ecosystem the role of NAVTTC the integration of green skills and strengthening Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to promote skill development and community empowerment. The activity aimed to enhance the capacities of partner CSOs for effective engagement and the promotion of green skills.
This important initiative was supported by Welthungerhilfe (WHH).

Great Manners Welfare Organization (GMWO), in collaboration with the Fisheries Department (BBHYDP) has launched a 22-day Aquaponics Training Program at Centre Town Committee Husri to empower local women.
The program provides training in home-based fish and vegetable farming using sustainable aquaponics methods. This innovative technique requires minimal land and offers both nutritional support and income opportunities for families.
Participants have already successfully constructed aquaponics models and are now preparing to begin fish farming at home.
This initiative promotes women’s empowerment, sustainable agriculture, and community development.

Great Manners Welfare Organization (GMWO) successfully conducted a Sweater Distribution Program after which the residents of Village Khako Machi approached us with a humble and heartfelt request They shared that no welfare activities had previously taken place in their village and that they learned about GMWO through our welfare work and photos shared on Facebook They warmly appreciated our efforts and requested us to visit their village to distribute sweaters among poor and deserving families Alhamdulillah, today the team of Great Manners Welfare Organization (GMWO) led by Executive Director Mr. Mohammad Yousuf Solangi along with UC-85 Councillor Mr. Mohammed Yaqoob Solangi, visited Village Khako Machi and successfully conducted a Sweater Distribution Program, bringing warmth, comfort and hope to needy families.
GMWO remains firmly committed to serving humanity with dedication, sincerity, and compassion wherever help is needed.
