The Final Prize Distribution Ceremony of the Intercollegiate Quiz Competition and Machine Learning Expo was successfully held under the banner of the Mathematical Society, GPGC Haripur.
The event concluded with the recognition of outstanding student performances and achievements. In the Intercollegiate Quiz Competition, cash prizes of PKR 10,000, 5,000, and 2,500 were awarded to the top three scorers:
🥇 1st Position — Mahnoor (Department of Mathematics, GPGC Haripur)
🥈 2nd Position — Matiullah (Department of Mathematics, GPGC Haripur)
🥉 3rd Position — Nayab Gull (Department of Mathematics, GPGC No. 2 for Women)
The Machine Learning Expo also featured highly innovative student projects applying Machine Learning to real-world scientific and engineering problems.
🏆 Best Project Award — Beenish, Mahnoor, and Umar (Department of Mathematics, GPGC Haripur) for their Machine Learning-based analysis of Polymer Extrusion.
🥈 Second Position — Nimra Saeed and group (Department of Physics, GPGC Haripur) for their Machine Learning model on Bungee Jumping analysis.
🥉 Third Position — Safiullah and group (Department of Chemistry, GPGC Haripur) for their Machine Learning-based analysis of Salt Mixing.
During his address, our respected Principal, Prof. Zulfiqar Ali, highly appreciated the efforts of the Mathematical Society GPGC Haripur and the Department of Mathematics in promoting innovative and research-oriented activities among students. He also acknowledged the contributions of the Principal Organizer, Mr. Hamza Kazmi, and the external guest and project evaluator, Mr. Muhammad Israr.
