We were pleased to welcome Muhammad Yasir Yaqub Sethi, Owner of Sethi’s, to the Decent Welfare Society (DWS) and Mahomed Gatrad Artificial Limb & Clubfoot Center, accompanied by Mr. Ahmed Yasin.

During the visit, Dr. Ijaz Bashir and Mr. Ashfaq Bashir briefed the guests about the various projects, services, and community initiatives being carried out through DWS and the Limb Center.

Muhammad Yasir Yaqub Sethi appreciated the efforts being made to provide prosthetic and orthotic services, rehabilitation, healthcare, and support to people in need. He was particularly impressed by the scale and impact of the work being done.

He also shared valuable and insightful ideas on how we can engage more people, create greater awareness, and expand our reach to serve more members of the community.

We sincerely appreciate his time, interest, and thoughtful suggestions. Visits like these bring new perspectives, new connections, and new possibilities for serving the community better.

17 September | World Patient Safety Day

​On 17 September, organizations around the globe come together to highlight the vital importance of patient safety in healthcare.

​To mark World Patient Safety Day, our dedicated students delivered insightful presentations on key safety protocols and patient care standards. Following the presentations, our students conducted comprehensive hands-on emergency preparedness training covering CPR algorithms, Snake Bite management, Needle prick injury and bleeding control. The Rescue Team Gujrat also conducted the basic life support drills, fire safety demonstrations, and safe patient transfer techniques to ensure we are ready to protect lives when every second counts.

The event was attended by Chairman DWS Dr.ijaz Bashir, Secretary DWS Ayisha Ayub, and ICAHS Vice-Principal Mamoon-ul-Hassan

A Step Towards Accessible Healthcare for All

Decent Welfare Society proudly inaugurated its Free Dispensary & Eye Clinic, with the inauguration performed by Mr. Atif Waheed Sahab, son of renowned Islamic scholar
Dr. Israr Ahmed.

The facility aims to provide basic healthcare services to those in need, including:

- Free medical consultation
- Basic health tests and screening
- Free basic medicines where required
- Free eye check-ups
- Referral for further medical care when needed

This initiative reflects Decent Welfare Society’s commitment to making essential healthcare accessible to underprivileged communities and serving society with dignity and compassion.

We are grateful to Mr. Atif Waheed Sahab for joining us on this occasion and for appreciating the efforts of Decent Welfare Society.

مفسرِ قرآن ڈاکٹر اسرار احمد ؒمرحوم کے فرزند، مہتممِ تنظیم اسلامی اور ممتاز عالمِ دین حافظ عاطف وحید ڈاکٹر اعجاز بشیر کی دعوت پر 19 ستمبر کو گجرات کا دورہ کریں گے۔

حافظ عاطف وحید، ڈیسینٹ ویلفیئر سوسائٹی، ادارہ بحالی معذوراں، عائشہ بشیر ٹرسٹ ہسپتال اور پاکستان کلیفٹ لپ اینڈ پیلیٹ ایسوسی ایشن کا تفصیلی دورہ کریں گے۔

منتظمین کی جانب سے حافظ عاطف وحید کو ڈاکٹر اعجاز بشیر سوشل ویلفیئر مشن میں شامل رفاہی اداروں کا تفصیلی معائنہ کروایا جائے گا اور بریفینگ دی جائے گی۔
