عالمی یومِ معذورین کے موقع پر شائن ویلفیئر فاؤنڈیشن اور سی آئی پی کے اشتراک سے گوجرانوالہ پریس کلب میں ایک اہم پریس کانفرنس کا انعقاد کیا گیا، جس میں افرادِ باہم معذوری کے سیاسی حقوق اور قانون ساز اداروں و مقامی حکومتوں میں نمائندگی کے مطالبات پیش کیے گئے۔

تقریب میں چارٹر آف ڈیمانڈز پیش کیا گیا، جس میں معذور افراد کے لیے مخصوص نشستوں میں اضافہ، لوکل گورنمنٹ میں نمائندگی، قابلِ رسائی ٹرانسپورٹ و پبلک مقامات، مستقل کمیٹیوں کا قیام اور انتخابی عمل میں آسانیاں شامل تھیں۔

سی آئی پی کے نمائندگان، شائن ویلفیئر فاؤنڈیشن کی صدر ہما ارشاد، ایگزیکٹو ڈائریکٹر، بلال بٹ، رانا بشیر ،علی رضا اور دیگر ممبرز،تنظیموں کے رہنماؤں، پریس کلب عہدیداران، سول سوسائٹی اور ))افرادِ باہم معذوری نے بھرپور شرکت کی۔

پریس کانفرنس کے بعد آگاہی ریلی نکالی گئی جس میں “سیاسی نمائندگی ہمارا حق” اور “معذور افراد کو بااختیار بنایا جائے” کے نعرے لگائے گئے۔ شرکاء نے حکومتِ پنجاب سے مطالبہ کیا کہ معذور افراد کی

The Shine Welfare Foundation (SWF) team, along with its internship students, visited the Tahafuz Center Gujranwala .
The team was briefed that the Tahafuz Center provides various services to citizens — especially women, persons with disabilities, transgender individuals, and senior citizens — including complaint registration, legal guidance, and immediate assistance.

During the visit, there was a detailed discussion about the services and operational procedures of the center.
This visit proved to be a valuable learning experience, enhancing the students’ awareness and spirit of social service.
