I am Ashfaq, a caring and determined person who believes in serving humanity with love and compassion. I teach children from poor families free of cost because I dream of seeing them educated, confident, and able to support their families. Along with this, I support widows, orphans, and disabled women by helping in community projects like sewing centres, which give them hope and a source of income. I am also focused on my own learning and growth, preparing for competitive exams to build a better future. At heart, I am a simple person who finds happiness in helping others and making a positive difference in their lives.

I was born as an only child into a Muslim family. My father was a wood worker and my mother was a housewife. My father was not doing well in his job and I had to drop out of school in 2014 when I was in Class Four. Many children from my neighborhood came to Ashfaq John’s free school. My father came to Ashfaq John’s school and asked them to admit me because it is an English Medium school, its base is good and above all it gives free education to children. Ashfaq John Admitted me on August 2104 after summer vacation in Class Five. Inside the The School System which is a missionary school, the children went to church for morning prayer. I also used to go with them. I used to listen to the word of God and after a year in 2015 I changed from Muslim to Christian. When my father found out about my conversion, he tried to kick me out of his house.

In March 2016, my father left me in the middle of the train tracks tied with a rope. Then a stranger picked me up before the train passed by. He took me to his house. A few days later, my maternal grandfather reached there looking for me. The person who rescued me handed me over to my grandfather who took me home. Since then I lived with my grandfather and had no relationship with my father. My mother died in September 2016 from grief after losing me. My grandfather also died in February 2017 grieving for my mother. After my grandfather died I went to live with my aunt. My aunt had a hard enough time caring for her own children so in 2018 I moved into a hostel supported by Ashfaq John and another partner. I still live in the hostel. I am in 10th class now and In want to be a doctor when In graduate

I was born into a Christian family and I have two sisters, Sania Bibi born in 2010 and Tabita Bibi born in 2012. My father worked in a brick kiln factory. My father was a very hard worker but he was patient of diabetes and lung problems due to which died on July 20, 2019. My mother is a very kind lady who works to run our home, but it is difficult for her to fulfill her kids expenditures.

My mother met Ashfaq John through his school colleague. His mother requested Ashfaq John to admit me into his school. My mother requested Ashfaq John to help them with home expenses. Ashfaq John admitted me into 7 Class. When My father died I was inTwo class. After my father died, I dropped his school for two years. Ashfaq John helped me with school uniforms, school shoes, books, notes books, school bags, a white board, board marker, pencils, geometry box and also with food. I want to be an engineer when I grow up.

I was in a Christian family and I have one older sister, Rahat Naseem born in 2007. My mother is alive but uneducated and works as a house cleaner in other homes to support her family. My father died on August 12, 2017 from lung cancer. My father worked at a bric kiln factory for our family. He took a loan from the brick kiln factory for his family but didn't pay it back. My mother is working to pay back the brick kiln factory's loan which is why me and my sister can't get an education.

My mother met Ashfaq John for the admission of me in his school. She requested Ashfaq John to pay my school fee and support me further to get an education. My mother is very kind lady but our condition is very undescribable. Every day my mother came to Ashfaq John’s home to get flour for bread, money for vegetables and money for milk. My mother asked Ashfaq to add me to his orphan's list and support me. She came with hope so Ashfaq John added me to his orphan's list and make sure that I will be educated in the future. I am a very intelligent girl but I need support to get an education because in most cases I didn't have school stationery like registers, books, key books, pencils, clip boards. A white board, board markers and a school bag. Ashfaq John often helped me with these things. I want to be doctor when I grow up.

Farhan Masih

I was born into a christian family and I have only one younger sister, Rakhsar Bibi born in 2019. My father alive but is uneducated and works in a brick kiln factory. My mother also worked in the brick kiln factory but she died on 28 September 2023 from a heart attack. My father married again and paid my school fees but his new wife did not want me around. My father heard about Ashfaq John’s orphanage from Sajawal Masih who works in the same brick kiln factory. In my father’s first meeting with Ashfaq John my father asked him about help for both me and Rukhsar because he wanted a peaceful second marriage.

Ashfaq John admitted me into his orphanage and he gives me food, uniform, shoes, books, notes books and school stationery. Now I am in Class Two and I want to be a doctor when I grow up. My sister was admitted into his orphanage later

I was born into a Christian family. I have an older brother Sajawal Masih, born in 2010 and an older sister, Nazia Riaz born in 2008. My father worked in a brick kiln factory because he was in debt to the owner because he was a diabetic and he could not work as much, so he took out loans to meet the needs of our family. My my mother is a housewife and also has diabetes. In July 2024 I had to drop out of school in Class 5 because my father was too sick to pay my school fees. On July 17, 2024 my father died from diabetes and hepatitis.

My sister Nazia was a friend of Ashfaq John’s Sister in law. She told Nazia about Ashfaq John’s orphanage and school. Nazia went to meet him at his school and asked how he could support us and even pay off the debt to the brick kiln factory owner. After the meeting Ashfaq John let me live in his orphanage where he provides my food, clothes, shoes, school stationery, bag and books and pays my school fees. I am in Class 6 now so I can become a nurse when I grow up. My mother died on January 6, 2025 from a snake bite.
