Today, the Women's Parliamentary Caucus (WPC), led by President Ms. Kulsoom Farman, held a detailed meeting with officials from UN Women Pakistan to discuss upcoming women-centered legislative bills. The meeting was attended by Mr. Nazir Ahmed, Patron-in-Chief of the WPC, Ms. Surayya Zaman, a WPC member, along with Mr. Javed Manwa and Mr. Kazim Mesum, friends of the caucus.
The meeting focused on areas of mutual interest, particularly in women empowerment and the support caucus needs in proactively advancing a women’s agenda in the House and elsewhere.

Chief Minister, Speaker, and Deputy Speaker Inaugurate Conference Room for Women's Parliamentary Caucus
Gilgit: The Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan Haji Gulbar Khan, Speaker Nazir Ahmed Advocate, and Deputy Speaker Sadia Danish today jointly inaugurated newly established conference room dedicated to the Women's Parliamentary Caucus at the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by members of the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly, President of the Women's Parliamentary Caucus Kulsoom Farman, and members of the Caucus.
This dedicated space is designed to provide a conducive environment for women parliamentarians to discuss, debate, and deliberate on critical issues, enhancing their role in the legislative process.
This initiative demonstrates the Government's commitment to gender equality, women's empowerment, and strengthening democratic institutions in Gilgit-Baltistan.
