Closing & Award Ceremony | Digital Libraries Initiative
The Digital Libraries Initiative under The Asia Foundation's “Let’s Read” Program successfully concluded with a closing and award ceremony celebrating the collective efforts of teachers, education stakeholders, partners and the project team.
The event was honoured by the presence of our distinguished Chief Guests, Mr. Jahanzaib, Director Reforms, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Mr. Sharafat, Deputy Inspector of Schools (DIS). Their presence and support added great significance to the occasion and reflected the importance of strengthening digital learning and reading opportunities within the education system.
The ceremony also recognized the contributions of participating teachers, celebrated the winners of the Storybook Writing Competition, and highlighted the project’s efforts to expand access to quality children’s reading resources, strengthen teachers’ digital capacity, and encourage locally developed children’s literature.
Implemented by Rupani Development Initiatives (RDI) through Rupani Foundation Pakistan and GBeeTechive, in partnership with the Pakistan Alliance for Early Childhood (PAFEC), with collaboration from the Directorate of Education, Gilgit-Baltistan.
A meaningful conclusion to an initiative focused on reading, learning, creativity and digital access for children.
