Organization for Educational Change Junior Wing recently collaborated with Nustainable for a five-day Summer School in Gilgit-Baltistan, bringing young minds together to explore climate change, technology & innovation, sustainable food systems, glaciers, water, and communities.
From expert-led sessions and debates to project presentations and a field-learning experience to Kargah Gilgit, the programme turned climate education into meaningful action.
A huge thank you to Nustainable team, speakers, organizers, and participants for making this initiative a success.
And a special appreciation for OEC Junior Wing, for always showing up, executing ideas, and turning visions into reality.

On 9th August 2026, the OEC Junior Wing held its Annual Tenure Shift Ceremony at Riviera Hotel, marking the conclusion of one tenure and the beginning of another.

The event began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by speeches and the official transition of leadership as we welcomed our new Lead and Co-Leads. We reflected on the achievements and experiences of the previous tenure, while our new Lead shared his vision, goals, and ideas for the year ahead.

And, of course, it wasn’t all discussions and speeches! From fun activities and plenty of laughter to sharing a meal together, the day gave us a chance to enjoy each other’s company and celebrate what makes the OEC Junior Wing special.

Here’s to a new tenure, new ideas, and another year of learning, growing, and creating an impact together. 🤍

The Organization for Educational Change – OEC Junior Wing is pleased to announce its new leadership team for the upcoming tenure.

Having previously served as a Co-Lead, Mr. Baqir Shah now takes on the role of Lead of OEC Junior Wing, alongside Ms. Alina Alam and Mr. Fida Muhammad, who will serve as Co-Leads. Together, they look forward to carrying the vision of OEC Junior Wing forward with renewed commitment, collaboration, and purpose.

As we welcome the new leadership, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Izaan Ali Shah, who served as Lead of OEC Junior Wing for two years, and Ms. Soha Ali Sakhi, who served as Co-Lead during the previous tenure. Their dedication, leadership, and contributions have played an important role in shaping and strengthening the Junior Wing, and we deeply appreciate their service.

Moving forward, the OEC Junior Wing will function under the supervision of Mr. Javed Iqbal, Supervisor, OEC Junior Wing, and Mr. Mehtab Alam, President, OEC, whose continued guidance and support will inspire the team throughout this journey.

Here’s to a new chapter of growth, collaboration, learning, and meaningful impact.

Today, we successfully conducted “Unravel & Reveal Yourself” an art workshop focused on mental well-being, self-expression, and creativity.

Through texture exploration, performative arts, and self-portrait activities, participants experienced new ways of expressing themselves. A special thank you to our facilitator, Eshmal Ejaz, and to every participant for making this workshop so meaningful.

OEC Junior Wing, the junior division of the Organization for Educational Change (OEC), is now inviting applications from enthusiastic and committed high school students.
While OEC has been serving the community for over 15 years, OEC Junior Wing has been actively empowering youth and driving positive change for more than five years, focusing exclusively on high school members.

As a group of talented and motivated young individuals, we have organized events, workshops, and initiatives that foster leadership, learning, and community engagement across Gilgit-Baltistan.

We are looking for passionate changemakers who are eager to contribute their energy, ideas, and leadership to meaningful projects.
This is an opportunity to learn, grow, and make a lasting impact while collaborating with like minded peers in a vibrant, youth-driven environment.
