We need to normalize seeking help for mental health. Fear of ‘what people will say’ should never be more important than inner peace and healing.

If “dam, dua, or jadu” could resolve mental health challenges, we wouldn’t still see so many people struggling or needing hospitals, therapy, and professional care.

In many of our communities, unverified local practices are often the first (and sometimes only) response. The real concern is not belief itself but the delay in seeking timely, evidence-based treatment, which can allow manageable conditions to worsen.

Mental health conditions require the same seriousness as physical illnesses. Early intervention, professional assessment, and scientifically supported therapies are essential for recovery.

It’s time to challenge stigma, question practices that replace proper care, and promote awareness around authentic mental health treatment. Because getting the right help at the right time can make all the difference.

Is the real problem discussing mental health or staying silent about it?

We do not hesitate to blame mothers when a child shows developmental delays, yet we rarely stop to ask whether that assumption is supported by science.
The reality is far more complex.
Conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental differences are not the result of a single cause. Decades of research show they emerge from an intricate interplay of genetics, brain development, and environmental factors. Not parenting style. Not maternal affection. Not a “lack of care.”
And yet, the first reflex is often blame.
This mindset is not just unfair, it is harmful. It shifts attention away from what actually matters: early identification, timely intervention, and meaningful support for the child and family.
Blame does not improve outcomes. Evidence-based action does.
If we want better futures for children, we must replace judgment with understanding and assumptions with science.

Part 2: difference between healthy and unhealthy anxiety.

29/03/2026

Ever gone blank in an exam or interview, even when you knew the answer?
That’s the freeze response in action.
Under stress, humans shift into:
• Fight – push through
• Flight – avoid or rush
• Freeze – mental blank, pause, or shutdown
In high-pressure moments like interviews or exams, freeze can look like forgetting key points, struggling to speak, or needing extra time to respond.
It’s not a lack of knowledge, it’s how the brain handles pressure.

The takeaway: performance improves when we manage stress, not just prepare content.

28/03/2026

No matter who you are, emotions don’t discriminate. We all feel, we all struggle, we all need understanding.

23/03/2026

Your anxiety is not your enemy, it’s your mind trying to protect you from future dangers.
In its healthy form, anxiety helps us prepare, stay alert, and make better decisions. But when it becomes overwhelming, it starts seeing threats even where none exist and that’s when it begins to negatively affect our lives.
The goal is not to eliminate anxiety, but to understand and guide it, so it protects you without controlling you.
You are not your anxiety. You are the one learning to manage it.
