We are grateful to the Vice Chancellor of Karakoram International University Gilgit, for taking the time to meet with Karakoram Inclusive Students Association.
In connection with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (December 3) 2025, a productive meeting was held between Cabinet of KISA (Dr. Syed Munir Hussain - Director KISA, Mrs. Heera - General Secretory KISA, Mr. Shah Zuhaib - Vice President and Finance Secretory KISA) and the Vice Chancellor of KIU (Prof. Eng. Dr. Attaullah Shah) regarding organizing a joint event in collaboration with Vision Welfare Foundation at Musharraf Hall KIU.
During the meeting, the challenges faced by persons with disabilities at KIU were discussed in detail. The Vice Chancellor extended full authority to President of KISA (Ali Kamran Noor) to initiate and carry out any activity within the university that supports and benefits individuals with disabilities.
Furthermore, the Vice Chancellor granted KISA complete permission to organize all future events related to disability awareness and inclusion at the KIU main campus.
