In the month of October 2025, our Jeremiah Education Centre was blessed by the visit of a dear friend Mr. Dino from Italy. His desire was not simply to visit a place, but to meet our children personally, to know them by name, and to see their lives up close. He was deeply interested in their faith and wished to encourage them through his presence. His visit stood as a sign of friendship, solidarity, and genuine closeness to our mission.
As the centre is currently under construction, we gathered to welcome him in the parish hall of the Holy Rosary Church, located next to our centre. The parish priest, Fr. Taufiq Younis, very generously opened the doors of the parish hall to us, and for this we are deeply thankful. That space became a place of encounter, prayer, and shared joy.
From the very first moment, Mr. Dino was welcomed with immense love and warmth. Flowers, garlands, the sound of the dhol, traditional welcome dances, and radiant smiles filled the hall, reflecting the beauty of Pakistani hospitality. He was welcomed not as a guest, but as family, surrounded by affection, gratitude, and celebration.
During the gathering, the children and their mothers shared their personal testimonies, speaking about how the centre has supported them throughout the years. They spoke of education, faith, growth, and hope of how the Jeremiah Education Centre has become a place of dignity and stability in their lives. Their words gave voice to lived realities and long journeys.
Mr. Dino also spent time praying with the families, sharing moments of silence and trust in God. As a sign of closeness and love, he brought small tokens from Italy in the form of rosaries and medals, simple gifts, yet rich in meaning, reminding everyone that faith unites hearts across cultures and distances.
During his stay, we also visited the homes of the children so he could witness their reality firsthand. He listened attentively as families shared their daily struggles and hopes. They expressed great joy in having him among them and felt honoured that someone had come so far simply to see them, listen to them, and stand beside them.
What made this visit even more meaningful is that this friend did not only visit our centre, he has also supported and helped it. Through encouragement, closeness, and concrete help, he has stood with us in our mission, strengthening both our children and our commitment to continue.
This visit was important for us because it built a living bridge between distant realities. He returned to Italy carrying with him what he had seen with his own eyes—that we exist, that our children’s faith is alive, and that the goodness growing in this centre is real and true.
We are sharing only a few pictures from these moments, as it would be impossible to share them all. These images offer just a small glimpse of the love, faith, and joy that filled those days, moments that remain deeply engraved in our hearts and continue to inspire our journey.
Moments like these remind us that even one friend can make a difference. When someone comes, listens, prays, helps, and bears witness, hope multiplies. We remain deeply grateful for this visit and for the bond that continues to unite us, carrying the story and light of our children far beyond the walls of our centre.
