Honoured to Receive Hilal-e-Imtiaz 🏅
Yesterday, I was humbled to be awarded Pakistan’s Hilal-e-Imtiaz — the second-highest civilian award after Nishan-e-Pakistan . This was a long-awaited honour, one I had almost given up hope on, until someone encouraged me not to quit and promised to make things right.
Standing atop all 14 peaks above 8,000m, raising my country’s flag, joining the ranks of just over 70 people in history to achieve this, and becoming one of the youngest in the world to do so — it still feels like a dream. But it was made possible only by the blessing of the Almighty, the prayers of my parents, and my own commitment to never give up.
My deepest thanks to:
Gen. Arfan Arshad, who took charge of the Alpine Club just months ago and fulfilled his promise. He said I will make it right and he did.
Bilquis & Dawood Foundation, for supporting me when I didn’t know if I could fund the dream. Razaq Dawood sahab I couldnot have done without your support.
Karakoram Club — Nida Aziz, Mobeen Mazhar, and Sarbaland. Thank you for the social media power, the sleepless nights, and for being with me through the worst and happiest moments. You are family.

Summit Karakoram team — with whom I climbed all 5 mountains in Pakistan.

My dearest climbing friend beyond borders — Arjun Vajpai from India.
And especially, my dear brother Noel Hana, who is no longer among us — I miss you deeply. Rest in peace.
And most importantly — my parents, my brothers, my entire family, my cousins, and followers ,everyone I love. You are my strength, my pride, and my greatest blessing. ❤️
The journey wasn’t easy — years of sacrifice, months away from home, pushing through pain, cold, and fear — all for the dream of seeing my country’s flag rise above the world’s highest peaks.
The world recognised it. Guinness recognised it. Hopefully Government of Pakistan will one day acknowledge with the pride it deserves, my heart still swells with pride when I say: Pakistan Zindabad! 🇵🇰
