More than 7500 approximately Christian people are in the areas at the Eastern Region of Faisalabad-Punjab, Pakistan are belongs to different area’s and migrated to Central Punjab long before Indo-Pak partition. The community completely depends on agriculture the fraction of people work as labour in towns and cities near to villages. As you know we live in an Islamic country and we considered as a
minorities. Due to the reason of minorities and also lack of knowledge and poverty still they have to face this discrimination, near about only 1 % of total community is literate and in result minorities they are ignored to their rights and social development. Most of the Christian community lives in villages and face constant threat from landlord. The reason is this women works in their houses, factories, mills, and some are house meds. They are landlords and mill owners and the Christian community is poor. With this fact, a community girl works in their houses and mills. Whose work in their houses as meds their boys can easily trap the girls and does Sexual Harassment with the Christian girls. Due the reason of poverty, people has limited resources which they invest in their food, livestock and business very few amount has been spent on the health and negligible has been invest on education. Christian Community is very poor; with this reason community people send their wives and girls in the factories and landlord houses. The girls change their religion and also agree to s*x or marriage with the Muslims due to attractions of wealth or well established houses which they belong. Ministry of Christian Women’s in Pakistan “Planned” and take initiative to provide Beautician Training Center, Sewing Training Center. Initially the Organization is trying to settle most deserving families and provide them a Training Centers to promote Christian women in Islamic country through Ministry of Christian Women’s in Pakistan.
