"An awareness seminar and awareness walk regarding cancer prevention was organized at Ghazi University Dera Ghazi Khan, by the Department of Sociology. Chairman of the Sociology Department, Dr. Muhammad Ali Tarar, Dr. Kahkashan Fatima from the Health Department, Sociology department's teachers Dr. Tahira Shamsad, Ms. Quratulain Rana (Head Women Wing Human Rights Council of Pakistan South Punjab), Ms. Zona Khan, Dr. Sohail, Mrs. Rabia Mohsin, and others participated in this Seminar. They educated students on ways to prevent cancer. Dr. Muhammad Ali Tarar stated during his speech, 'There's insufficient awareness about cancer. By bringing changes in lifestyles, we can gain control over cancer.' The seminar concluded with an awareness rally from the seminar hall to the Vice Chancellor's office, emphasizing the need to raise maximum awareness about cancer for people to adopt preventive measures against this disease."

غازی یونیورسٹی ڈیرہ غازی خان میں کینسر سے متعلق آگاہی سیمینار اور واک کا انعقاد
ڈیپارٹمنٹ آف سوشیالوجی غازی یونیورسٹی کی جانب سے کینسر سے بچاؤ کے متعلق ایک آگاہی سیمینار کا انعقاد کیا گیا جس میں چیئرمین ڈیپارٹمنٹ آف سوشیالوجی ڈاکٹر محمد علی تارڑ، محکمہ صحت کی جانب سے ڈاکٹر کہکشاں فاطمہ، شعبہ سوشیالوجی کے ٹیچرز ڈاکٹر طاہرہ شمشاد ، مس قرت العین رانا (ہیڈ وومن ونگ ہیومن رائٹس کونسل آف پاکستان ساؤتھ پنجاب) مس زونا خان، ڈاکٹر سہیل، مس رابعہ محسن اور دیگر نے شرکت کی۔
اس حوالے سے طلباء کو کینسر سے بچنے کے طریقے بتائے گئے۔
ڈاکٹر محمد علی تارڑ نے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کہا
"لوگوں کو کینسل سے متعلق آگاہی کم ہے۔ ہم رویوں میں تبدیلی لا کر کینسر پر قابو پا سکتے ہیں۔"
سیمینار کے اختتام پر سیمینار حال سے وائس چانسلر آفس تک آگاہی ریلی بھی نکالی گئی۔
ہمیں لوگوں کو کینسر سے متعلق زیادہ سے زیادہ آگاہی دینی چاہیے تاکہ بنیادی احتیاط اختیار کر کے اس مرض سے بچا جا سکے۔

"🎓✨ A day of creativity and recognition at Ghazi University DGKhan!

Heartfelt congratulations to all the talented students, and immense gratitude to our esteemed speakers, organizers, and teachers for their exceptional efforts. 🏆
A certificate distribution ceremony held on the completion of One-day Graphic Designing Workshop at Ghazi University DGKhan where Chairman Department of Sociology Dr. Muhammad Ali Tarar, Chairman Department of Economics Dr. Imran Lodhi, Director of Student affairs Dr. Muhammad Salman Haider and our Special guest trainers Mr. Mobeen Hashme and Mr. Sarmad Siddiqui distributed the certificates among the students and congratulated them.
After that shields of appreciation and certificates were also given to the Organizers and Teachers Mrs. Sumaira Bano, Mrs. Tahira Shamshad, Mr. Adeel Kamran and Ms. Qurat ul Ain Rana for their efforts and participation.
In the end a Shield of Honor was given to the guest speaker and trainers Mr. Mobeen Hashme and Mr. Sarmad Siddiqui by the chairman Department of Sociology Dr. Muhammad Ali Tarar.
Kudos to everyone who made this day extraordinary!
Special Thanks to Ms. Qurat ul Ain Rana Lecturer Department of Sociology and Head of Women Wing South Punjab Human Rights Council of Pakistan for organizing such a great event and especially focusing on the Empowerment of Girls.
