The Department of Computer Science and the Computing Students Society, Faculty of Computing, successfully organized a grand event, "Women in Tech 2025: Bridging the Gender Gap and Driving Innovation," in celebration of International Women’s Day 2025.

Dr. Humera Arshad, Chairperson of the Department of Computer Science, warmly welcomed the esteemed guests and audience.

The seminar featured an impressive lineup of keynote speeches, panel discussions, and networking sessions, with distinguished speakers including:
1. Mamoona Shuja, COO, CodeLab
2. Toquir Ahmed, CEO, Enigmatix
3. Sohaib Arshad, Director, Corvit
4. Vinash Madan, MD, Inno Skills

بلڈ ڈونیشن کیمپ کا اہتمام دی اسٹوڈنٹس سوسائٹی، فیکلٹی آف کمپیوٹنگ نے کیا۔

سٹوڈنٹس سوسائٹی، فیکلٹی آف کمپیوٹنگ نے تھیلیسیمیا کے مریضوں کی مدد کے لیے خون کے عطیہ کیمپ کا انعقاد کیا۔ سوسائٹی کے صدر منیش مدن نے اس بات پر روشنی ڈالی کہ فیکلٹی کے مرد اور خواتین دونوں طلباء نے نیک مقصد میں بڑھ چڑھ کر حصہ لیا۔

ڈاکٹر علی صمد ڈپٹی ڈائریکٹر طلباء نے خون کے عطیہ کی مہم کے لیے فیکلٹی کی مسلسل حمایت پر زور دیتے ہوئے کہا، "ہم فیکلٹی کے اندر ایسے اقدامات کو فروغ دینے کے لیے ہمیشہ پرعزم ہیں۔"

اس مہم کی کامیابی میں کلیدی کردار ادا کرنے والوں میں حیدر محمود، معراج حسن، اویش مدن، سردار عبدالمعیز اسامہ شفیق، عدنان مجید،
جواد احمد، عائشہ بی بی،
شہزاد امام، ثقلین مشتاق،اور طوبہ شامل تھے، جنہوں نے اس کی آسانی سے عملدرآمد کو یقینی بنانے میں اہم کردار ادا کیا۔
