province of Pakistan since last twelve years , in fields of social mobilization , emergency response
with specialization in shelters , health awareness and education , social mobilization , livelihood
support

/women empowerment , and build a cadre of youth enable to cope with the changing
needs of the world and can support in the holistic development of the area.

On the Occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr 2026
On behalf of Badin Development Organization (BDO), I extend my heartfelt greetings to everyone celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr. This blessed occasion marks the end of Ramadan, a month that teaches us patience, compassion, self-discipline, and generosity.

Eid is not only a time of joy and celebration, but also a reminder of our shared responsibility toward those who are less fortunate. It encourages us to strengthen the values of empathy, unity, and kindness within our communities. As we gather with our loved ones, let us not forget to extend our support to those in need and continue the spirit of giving beyond Ramadan.

His success exemplifies the idea that kitchen gardens are an act of adaptation and resilience. He is literally reclaiming control over what he eats.

Month after month, families walk miles just to collect unsafe water, losing time, health, and opportunity. Living in poverty, they lack the funds to pay in full for a long-term, safe water solution at home, so they spend large portions of their income on temporary fixes.

With your support, Badin Development Organization has installed a Handpump, complete with a kitchen garden and an animal pond, transforming scarcity into sustainability. Now, children like gazi will grow up never knowing the burden their parents once carried.

Floods in Punjab have already claimed 46 lives and affected more than 3.5 million people. 🏚️ Thousands of families are displaced, villages submerged, and livelihoods destroyed.

According to PDMA Punjab, over 1.49 million people have been rescued, more than 1 million animals saved, and 25,000–30,000 people are living in relief camps. Yet, the struggle continues.

Over the past day, rising waters of the Chenab and nearby rivers have caused flooding across parts of Punjab. Many families have been forced to leave their homes, while fields and villages remain under threat from the heavy rains.

Our thoughts are with all those who have been affected. Floods remind us of how closely people and nature are connected. When rivers overflow, communities, farmlands, and wildlife all suffer together.

Over 220 people have died in northwestern Pakistan in the past 24 hours due to heavy rain and flooding.

A helicopter on a rescue mission in the flood-stricken Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province crashed amid bad weather, killing all five crew members on board.

The National Disaster Management Authority reported that many others are still missing.

Monsoon rains, usually occurring from June to September, frequently bring widespread damage across South Asia, including Pakistan.

In recent years, climate change has made these storms more intense and unpredictable.
