The Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) organization of DBJSMNHS advocates for drug-free lifestyles among students by providing fun, engaging, and meaningful activities that highlight teamwork, discipline, and healthy pastimes.

Objectives:

To promote drug-free living through a student-friendly tournament.

To foster teamwork, camaraderie, and discipline among students.

To provide a healthy alternative leisure activity to prevent involvement in substance abuse.

To raise awareness that responsible gaming can be part of a balanced lifestyle.

To strengthen the presence of BKD in promoting drug prevention advocacy in creative and relatable ways.

ONLINE VICTORY: A BARKADA KONTRA DROGA (BKD) E-SPORTS TOURNAMENT SERIES 2
“Get ready to smash the bad vices, and protect the youth from drug use and abuse.”

Spearheaded by the the BKD Officers and Adviser, Mr. Herman C. Ala-an and GAD Coordinator, Mrs. Agnes R. Soldevilla.

The main objective of this tournament is to build camaraderie and team work amongst mobile game players of Don Benjamin Jalandoni Sr. Memorial National High School; that is observed to be an effective way of keeping the learners pre-occupied which prevent any possible exposure to illegal drugs and other harmful vices. It also increases the level of confidence of the players as they gain a set of skills and knowledge of the online strategy game that is widely known and played globally, the MOBILE LEGENDS. This tournament also emphasizes the level of challenge on the learners (players) in assessing the most competent and suitable heroes who has the right skills and weapon to secure the victory of their team. Moreover, this E-Sports Tournament is geared towards a more inclusive mindset when it comes to the varied kinds of sports that learners may productively take part with.
