𝗦𝗞 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 | 𝗠𝗔𝗬 𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗞 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗿 successfully conducted an awareness seminar focused on key issues affecting the youth and the community. The discussion centered on 𝗜𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗴𝘀 (causes, effects, and prevention), as well as important laws such as the 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝗰𝘁 (RA 11313) – Bawal Bastos Law and the 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗶-𝗢𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝘅𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝘁 (RA 11930), which aims to protect children from online abuse and exploitation.

The seminar was led by speakers 𝗣𝗖𝗠𝗦 𝗠𝘆𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲 𝗥. 𝗔𝗻𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗱𝗼 and 𝗣𝗦𝗦𝗚 𝗠𝗮𝗷𝗲𝗻 𝗦. 𝗔𝗴𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗿 from 𝗣𝗡𝗣 𝗭𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟭𝟭, who shared valuable knowledge and insights to help the youth become more informed, responsible, and aware of safety and legal issues.

The activity was made possible through the support and assistance of 𝗣𝗬𝗔𝗣-𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗿 (𝗣𝗮𝗴-𝗮𝘀𝗮 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 - 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗿), which helped facilitate the smooth flow of the program and encouraged active participation from the youth.

𝙍𝙪𝙣, 𝙂𝙧𝙤𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙: 𝙅𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙤𝙨 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙖 𝙀𝙡 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙤 𝙙𝙚 𝙅𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙨 𝙣𝙖 𝙕𝙖𝙢𝙗𝙤𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖

𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐅𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 gathered as one in 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐚, 𝐙𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 for the 𝐏𝐘𝐀𝐏 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔. The day started with an 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐅𝐮𝐧 𝐑𝐮𝐧 early in the morning, followed by a 𝐯𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐙𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐚 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 that showcased the 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐬𝐦 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 of the participants.

In the afternoon, the excitement continued through “𝐋𝐚𝐫𝐨 𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐚𝐡𝐢”, where 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 brought 𝐟𝐮𝐧, 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞 among the youth. This was followed by the 𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫, which focused on important discussions about 𝐇𝐈𝐕 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 and 𝐊𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚 𝐃𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐚, aiming to 𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 to make 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 and promote 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬.

Through these activities, participants not only enjoyed and bonded with fellow youth but also gained 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞 and strengthened their 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩.
