📢 DOST IX – ZCHRD LAUNCHES CALL FOR HEALTH RESEARCH PROPOSALS

The Zamboanga Consortium for Health Research and Development (ZCHRD) under DOST Region IX successfully conducted its Orientation Meeting: Call for R&D Proposals.
The event was opened by Ms. Rosemarie S. Salazar, ZCHRD Consortium Chair and DOST IX Regional Director, who emphasized the vital role of advancing health research across the region.
We are proud to share that representatives from Brent Hospital and Colleges Inc. actively joined this initiative, including the School Research Officer, Ms. Lady Erika Mar G. Alvarez, M.Sc., Biochemistry Instructor, Ms. Claudine Joy Tolentino, LPT, and the Mathematics Instructor, Mr. Aljame M. Isha, MST-Math (CAR). Other institutions also participated in this gathering, including the Ateneo de Zamboanga University, Western Mindanao State University, Universidad de Zamboanga, ZSCMST, Zamboanga City Medical Center, Labuan General Hospital, Ciudad Medical Zamboanga, ADMAMED, and Katilingban sa Kalambuan Org. Inc. Participants from Sulu State University and Margosatubig General Hospital also joined via Zoom.
Presentations covered ZCHRD priority areas, DOST Grants-in-Aid, and technology transfer processes. This initiative aims to develop impactful research that addresses local health needs and supports evidence-based policies for the Zamboanga Peninsula.
