After the enthusiastic response of Muslims living in Manila towards AlMaghrib seminars, Muslims living in Zamboanga City wanted to bring AlMaghrib to Mindanao. The Zamboanga chapter of AlMaghrib Institute aims to deliver Islamic knowledge to Muslims in Zamboanga City through seminar style classes that cover a variety of Islamic topics. The goal of the seminars is to increase the general knowledge

of Filipino Muslims on Islamic Sciences to help them become better Muslims through classes taught by highly-trained scholars that are aware of the cultural and social contexts in which today's Muslims live. The Zamboanga Chapter hopes to encourage a culture of seeking knowledge among Filipino Muslims living in Zamboanga.
