π’ππ„π€πŠπ„π‘ π’ππŽπ“π‹πˆπ†π‡π“ | Via Mariz S. Espejo

The first session of the Student Training for Emerging Potential (STEP) Program launched successfully as STEP Speaker Ms. Via Mariz S. Espejo shared an inspiring conversation on leadership, opportunity, and the courage to step beyond one’s comfort zone.

As the first session, titled β€œUnwritten,” began, she emphasized that leadership is not defined by titles or prestige, but by the willingness to take responsibility, serve others, and grow through every experience. Through her message, Ms. Espejo reminded participants that opportunities can reveal strengths we may not yet recognize in ourselves.

In addition, she encouraged everyone to embrace the opportunities entrusted to them, even when they may not feel ready, stating "when opportunity knocks, grab it." Our experiences, imperfections, and willingness to learn can gradually shape us into the leaders we are becoming.

Her message reminds us that leadership is not something we need to have completely figured out from the beginningβ€”it is something we discover and develop along the way.
