LOOK| The PRESIDENT of the Calaparosireyna de Calarian Organization Song Ji Yoo attended this year's PRIDE Congress organized by the City Government of Zamboanga under the new GAD Chairperson Hon. Khymer Adan Olaso M.M.—City Mayor with Mujer-LGBT Organization that focused on promoting SOGIESC (Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity and Expression) equality, within the Philippines specifically here in Zamboanga City.
This was a one-day gathering where various stakeholders, including companies, government agencies, civil society organizations, and human rights advocates, come together to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and explore ways to champion inclusion.

This year's PRIDE Congress emphasizes on practical steps that can foster inclusion both internally and within the LGBTQIA+ community in the City.

Ang "gay" ay tawag sa mga taong naa-attract sa kaparehong gender nila.
Usually ginagamit ito ng mga lalaking attracted sa kapwa lalaki, pero ginagamit din minsan ng mga babaeng attracted sa kapwa babae.

Kasama ang gay, le***an, at heterosexual sa tinatawag na monosexual identities, ibig sabihin, attraction sa isang gender lang.

This is about recognizing the humanity of trans and q***r people that’s why we need to be ethically responsible with the content we create and share.

LOOK| Coachella Gala Night was a success!

The CALAPAROSIREYNA de CALARIAN Organization holds its 2nd year Gala Party at Sunset Resort with coachella theme last night (June 29, 2025) and the event was nothing but pure fun, celebrating true colors of diversity.

The Guest speakers inspired and motivated the delegates that Pride is about celebrating who you are and who you love.
It's about celebrating love in all its forms and that Love is Love.

Thanks to Hon. Al-Muktader Sapii—SK chairman of Barangay Limpapa and Architect Rino Innoh Matos who were the Resource speakers of the event.

Recognizing our sponsors, delegates and the people who were behind the success of the month long Pride celebration were the highlights along with the awarding of members and officers who stand out during the culminating.

The event was filled with fun and laughter as the officials of the organization prepared some games basically trivia related to the LGBTQ alongside with a raffle for the attendees courtesy by the Hon. Katrina C. Tai our newly elected Congresswoman of District 1.

Our take aways for this event are;

•No matter who you are or who you love, you are valid, and your love matters.

So, here's to being visible, vocal, and proud.

And to all my fellow LGBTQIA+ brothers and sisters our allies please bear in mind that every step forward is a step towards equality and TOGETHER, WE ARE STRONGER!
