2nd Regular Club Meeting | August 15, 2026

The Rotaract Club of Zamboanga City West successfully held its 2nd Regular Club Meeting on August 15, 2026, at 5:30 PM, at the Emerald Room, Grand Astoria.

Members and officers came together to discuss key priorities that will guide the club's direction for the rest of the Rotary year, including:

●Rotary Club Central Goals Setting
●DRR's Goals and Thrusts
●Peacebuilding & Conflict Prevention Project
●Fundraising Project Updates (Pickleball)
●Project HOPE

With clear goals now in place and momentum building around our initiatives, the club looks forward to an exciting stretch of activities ahead.

ICYMI:

A new feeding center, a new source of hope! πŸ½οΈπŸ’›

The Rotaract Club of Zamboanga City West joined the turnover of the Rotary Feeding Center at Southern Support Command Elementary School last July 16, 2026.

This meaningful project was made possible through the generosity of OWL Foods Corporation (Mano-Mano Chain of Restaurants) and Myler Agribusiness, Inc., in celebration of OWL Foods' 25th Anniversary, in partnership with the Rotary Club of Zamboanga City West and our club.

Before, the school had no proper space dedicated to feeding programs for its students. Now, thanks to this project, Southern Support Command Elementary School has a permanent Rotary Feeding Center - a space that will help ensure children receive proper nutrition, supporting their health, focus, and overall growth both in and out of the classroom.

We're proud to be part of this initiative that will help nourish young minds and support the well-being of students for years to come. Salamat to our partners for trusting us to be part of this lasting impact!
