We are delighted to share that the SKPA-2 team recently paid us a farewell visit to monitor and understand our progress as an organization over the past year.

This visit not only marked the end of a fruitful phase but also underscored the invaluable technical assistance SKPA-2 has provided us. Without their support and guidance, MACAHAZ would not have achieved the strength and resilience we proudly embody today.

We are thrilled to share that our esteemed president, John John Diansing, recently delivered an impactful presentation at the DOH-R9 Center for Health Development STIR-UP 2024.

During his presentation, Diansing introduced MACAHAZ to the Treatment Hubs across the Zamboanga Peninsula, including Sulu. This initiative is a significant step towards expanding our reach and fostering strong connections with various stakeholders in the region.

Our goal is to build bridges and collaborate effectively with healthcare providers to enhance the quality of care and support available to those in need. We believe that by working together, we can make a meaningful difference in the communities we serve.

Day 2 of DOH-R9 STIR UP 2024 at LM Hotel, Zamboanga City.

Our representative is currently voicing a crucial question regarding the OHAT Package from PhilHealth to the respective facilities. We are voicing out on the transition its allocation or payment from the General Fund to a Trust Fund. This shift would facilitate the procurement of essential services and supplies such as vaccinesโ€”flu, pneumonia, hepatitis B, and moreโ€”specifically to support the PLHIV Community.

It's important to highlight that this request stems directly from the community's needs.

We firmly believe that the community is not the problem; rather, they are an integral part of the solution. By empowering them with the necessary resources, we can make significant strides in improving health outcomes and fostering a more inclusive and supportive environment for everyone involved.

Today was a truly productive Sunday for MACAHAZ as we took another step towards building strong community partnerships.

Our team was honored to be invited to the session of SK Culianan, where our president, John-John Diansing, had the privilege of discussing future plans and programs focused on HIV and AIDS awareness and prevention with the SK Officials.
