FIYAD joined the 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐬: 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞, together with the Talisayan 4-H Club and other barangays, organized by the Cawit 4-H Club, in empowering the next generation of young agriculturists.

The energy, excitement, and shared passion made the whole experience truly unforgettable. This meaningful gathering opened our minds to new ideas, opportunities, and the importance of youth involvement in agriculture, while helping us change the stigma towards agriculture and see it as a field full of innovation, growth, and purpose.

Together, we stand committed to cultivate knowledge, inspire change, and grow a better future for our community.

The energy was high, even with the pressure and exhaustion felt by everyone.
Despite being tired, we stayed strong and strengthened our bond as one FIYAD family. 💙

FIYAD ORG JOINS BARANGAY KALINISAN DAY – CLEAN-UP IN PALAYAN!

FIYAD actively participated in today’s Barangay Kalinisan Day clean-up drive held in Talisayan Purok 3, Palayan on March 28, 2026. We worked hand in hand with barangay officials and other sectors to clean up public spaces, make our community look better.

This helps local governments create programs and policies that truly respond to the needs of the people. It also strengthens accountability, because when communities understand their rights, they can help monitor, report concerns, and advocate for fair and inclusive governance.

For youth organizations like FIYAD, involvement in human rights promotion empowers young people to become leaders, advocates, and partners in building safer, more inclusive, and rights-based communities. By working together—communities, civil society organizations, and local governments—we can ensure that human rights are respected, protected, and fulfilled for everyone.”

In response to the fire incident that hit Purok 4, Barangay Talisayan early last Friday (March 6, 2026), where the house of 67-year-old senior citizen Jubita Carbona was burned down – clothing donations were provided by Wear To Go, and personally distributed by FIYAD President and Officers.

Together with diverse LGUs and CSOs, we engaged in meaningful dialogue, strengthened partnerships, and deepened our commitment to advancing human rights at the local level.

We were honord to participate in the 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 – 𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘂𝗲 headed by the United Nations Human Rights Office of the High Commissioner.

𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙨𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 brought together inspiring leaders, passionate advocates, and active community representatives to strengthen collaboration, promote transparency, and champion human rights at the local level.

👟✨ Fun Walk & Zumba Session | February 21, 2026

‎FIYAD Organization together with PYAP and KK Talisayan proudly joined the Fun Walk and Zumba Session organized by the Department of Education – Zamboanga City Division. 💚It was a lively and meaningful gathering that brought together youth and community members in promoting health, unity, and active involvement.

‎With the theme “Step & Shake for Digital Futures – Zamboanga’s ICT-Fied & Modernized Basic Education!,” the activity supports the Adopt-A-School Program in enhancing ICT programs of selected remote schools. 📡
‎
‎Through teamwork, energy, and shared purpose, FIYAD continue to show that when the youth come together, we can move for a cause and make a real difference in our community. 💪🌿

LOOK | TRAINING OF TRAINERS ON LOCALIZATION OF THE 4TH PHILIPPINE HUMAN RIGHTS ACTION PLAN

- FIYAD actively participated in the 2 day Training of Trainers in Quezon City, this project aims to capacitate local civil society organizations in monitoring the local implementation of the 4th Philippine Human Rights Plan (PHRP4) and in developing policy agendas and campaigns towards the institutionalization of human rights commitments and action plans at the city and municipal level. It hopes to lay the groundwork for the institutionalization of local human rights action plans and the integration of the PHRP4’s programs of action, and ultimately promote a human rights-based approach in local governance, especially in local development planning and budgeting.
