Assalamu Alaykum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu

It is that blessed time of the year again! 🐑💚

A time to draw closer to our Creator, to follow the Sunnah, and to sacrifice part of our wealth purely for the sake of Allah SWT.

As the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

"There is nothing dearer to Allah during the days of Udhiya than the sacrificing of animals. The sacrificed animal shall come on the Day of Judgment with its horns, hair, and hooves (to be weighed). The sacrifice is accepted by Allah before the blood reaches the ground. Therefore sacrifice with an open and happy heart."
(Sunan Tirmizi & Sunan Ibn Majah)

We may not all be blessed to perform Hajj this year, but the spirit of sacrifice and generosity remains within our reach. Let us seize this opportunity to earn immense rewards and make our deeds heavy on the Scale of Goodness. 🤲💖

Moving up and graduation ceremonies of our orphans at Asia Academic School.
2 of them are graduating from high school and will be entering college life soon. In shaa Allah.. joining the first 2, there will be 4 of them who will be college scholars of the foundation.

As promised, until they will be degree holders, have their own job.. we will support them all the way. Biidhnillah 😇😇

Alhamdulillah!!
We have 11 achievers and honor students among our orphans who are all enrolled at Asia Academic School.
Just like the regular students with their parents.. our orphans excel also in their academic lives and they are also celebrated and cheered for.
They might not have their biological parents with them.. but the smiles in their faces mirrors their happiness for this momentous achievement!!
Jazakumullahu khairan to their sponsors and donors.. After Allah.. you are the reason for this celebration!

FREE CIRCUMCISION PROGRAM

Circumcision is not just a tradition.
It is part of the fitrah — the natural way taught in Islam.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

“Five are from the fitrah: circumcision…”
(Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim)

For many families, fulfilling this can be difficult.
But when a community comes together, what feels heavy becomes easy.

Assalamu alaykum!
Alhamdulillah!! For the month of Ramadan, we were able to sponsor 30 families for the whole month and for the last 15 days we were able to give a total of 800 iftar packs containing 1 whole chicken and 2 kilos rice.
Jazakumullahu khairan to all who join our Ramadan programs and share their zakat with our orphans.
Taqabbalallahu minna wa minkum salihal 'amal. Wa kullu amin wa antum bikhair.
(May Allah accept it from us and you and all of our good deeds .) 🤲🏼❤

Eid Mubarak!
Alhamdulillah!
Jazakumullahu khairan to all our sponsors for giving our orphans one day of happiness. Their blessed day started with the Eid prayer then generous visitors came and gave them ice cream treats and gifts and by noontime they headed to a resort park and enjoyed the amenities there the whole afternoon.
They might not have families but giving them this kind of enjoyment once in a while makes them feel like a regular child with parents supporting their needs and wants, and make them forget being orphans. 🥰🥰
Thank you also to Pocari sweat for keeping them hydrated all day long 🤗🤗
The day capped with the azan and Qur-an competition where one of our orphans is a finalist in the azan competition. Ma shaa Allah!! Alhamdulillah!!

As the month of Ramadan leaves us.. our hearts are full with all the blessings our orphans received from beautiful souls guided by the tawfiq from Allah.
Almost everyday, friends and people we dont even know just randomly deliver Iftar food packs, groceries and school supplies. And others treat them to dine-in Iftars.
Ma shaa Allah!! Alhamdulillah!!
And at the end of Ramadan, the Ateneo de Zamboanga Grade School Community Service Program with their student body officers visited us with their gifts and grocery goods. Indeed teaching kids at their young age to be mindful of others and have concern in the less fortunate ones will build a foundation of charitable quality in their lives.
Jazakumullahu khairan to everyone who shared their blessings with our orphans.
The zakat that they have received will be used to sustain their needs all throughout the year.
May Allah accept all our sadaqah and zakat and may Allah reward us enormously in this world and in the hereafter.

On the 27th of Ramadhan, we were blessed to serve 100 iftar packs (each with 1 whole chicken + 2kg rice) to families in Sacol Island and Bugguk barangay! 🤲

📅 FROM TODAY FORWARD – until the end of Ramadhan – we’re targeting to help 100 families EVERY SINGLE DAY!

From the 24th to 26th of Ramadan, we brought warmth to 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗻, 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗴𝗮𝗹𝗶, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗸𝗶 – 3 barangays, 160 𝗶𝗳𝘁𝗮𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝘁𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗹! 🎁 Each one loaded with 1 whole chicken and 2kg rice to make breaking fast extra special 🐔🍚

Many have been asking: Is our foundation eligible to accept zakat?
Yes!! We have poor orphans we shelter in the foundation.. 40 of them, and actually the zakat they received during Ramadan is the one that sustains the year-round expenses of the orphanage aside from the monthly donations of our sponsors.
Alhamdulillah to all those who are with us in taking care of these orphans.
