Whenever.....

September 1 is here… and you know what that means! 🎄🇵🇭
The Ber months have officially entered the chat! 😂🎶

For Filipinos, September marks the beginning of that familiar Christmas feeling—Christmas songs slowly making their way into our playlists, Jose Mari Chan making his annual comeback, and the countdown to Christmas officially beginning.

But for us, September means more than just the start of the Christmas season. It also marks the beginning of a month dedicated to something close to our hearts: Basic Education and Literacy. 📚✨

This month, we are also launching Learn to Read, Read to Learn Year 7 (LRRL)—a continuing literacy initiative of the Rotary Club of Zamboanga City North and Rotaract Club of Zamboanga City North, together with our valued partners and volunteers.

As we begin another year of helping young learners learn to read and read to learn, may this season remind us that the best things we can give are not always wrapped in ribbons. Sometimes, they come in the form of time, knowledge, encouragement, and the gift of learning.

So yes, Christmas may be coming… but so is another year of making a difference.

Happy September 1! Let the Ber months and LRRL Year 7 begin! ✨

A GREETING FROM OUR PAST PRESIDENTS! 💙💛

A legacy of service continues to inspire! ✨

The Rotaract Club of Zamboanga City North and the Interact Club of Ateneo de Zamboanga Senior High School are honored to receive warm video greetings from two of our distinguished Past Presidents in celebration of our Joint Induction Ceremony.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to:

🔹 Rtr. Aaron Neil Francisco
Past President, Rotary Year 2017–2018

🔹 Rtr. Isiah Gimel Gutierrez
Past President, Rotary Year 2021–2022

Your dedication and commitment to the Rotaract movement have helped shape the club’s continuing journey of service. Your messages serve as a meaningful reminder that while leadership terms may end, the spirit of Service Above Self and the legacy we leave behind continue to inspire those who follow.

Thank you for taking the time to share your greetings and encouragement with our incoming leaders and members. May your example continue to guide us as we build a stronger, more compassionate, and service-driven community.

From one generation of leaders to the next—may we continue to lead, serve, and inspire. 💙💛

A GREETING FROM SENATOR BAM AQUINO! 🇵🇭✨

The Rotaract Club of Zamboanga City North and the Interact Club of Ateneo de Zamboanga Senior High School are honored to receive a special video greeting from Senator Bam Aquino in celebration of our Joint Induction Ceremony.

His inspiring message reminds us that leadership is not merely about holding a position, but about using our voices, abilities, and opportunities to create meaningful change in our communities.

We sincerely thank Senator Bam Aquino for taking the time to extend his warm greetings and encouragement to our young leaders. Your message serves as an inspiration as we continue to uphold the spirit of Service Above Self and empower the next generation to lead with purpose.

RECOGNIZING EXCELLENCE, CELEBRATING MEMBERSHIP 🌟

Service does not always ask to be noticed, but it deserves to be celebrated.

Congratulations to Kenshirou Zen Bravo, our Rotaractor of the Quarter, and Princess Dahlia Anne Saligumba, our Rising Rotaractor! 🏅

Both were recognized for their dedication, active involvement, and meaningful service to the club. They were awarded with a medal and certificate during the Joint Induction and Turnover Ceremonies on August 22, 2026, at Pavilion Hall, Astoria Regency Pasonanca.

This recognition is part of our continuing effort to appreciate members who go the extra mile in serving the club. The Rotaractor of the Quarter recognition will continue every quarter, with the quarter’s awardees eventually becoming candidates for Rotaractor of the Year.

Here’s to celebrating the members who quietly show up, serve with heart, and inspire others to do the same.

Congratulations, Rtr. Kenshi and Rtr. Dahlia! Your service matters and recognized!
