3RD REGULAR CLUB MEETING & DISTRICT GOVERNOR’S VISIT ✨

The Rotary Club of Zamboanga City West successfully conducted its 3rd Regular Club Meeting and District Governor’s Visit on October 6, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the Diamond Room, Grand Astoria Plaza, Zamboanga City.

The gathering brought together the club’s officers and members for an evening of fellowship, collaboration, and meaningful discussions. The club reflected on its successful activities, discussed upcoming programs and initiatives, and identified key priorities to help guide the club’s direction and strengthen its commitment for the remainder of the Rotary Year 2026–2027.

We were honored to warmly welcome our District Governor for Rotary Year 2026–2027, Ar. Carlo Joseph De La Cruz, whose presence and guidance added significance to the gathering. He shared valuable insights and discussed the Rotary Year plans, priorities, and the club’s goals and initiatives, providing direction and encouragement to the officers and members as we continue working together toward meaningful service.

As part of the meeting, the club also formally turned over the Governor’s Fund and Disaster Fund to District Governor Ar. Carlo Joseph De La Cruz, supporting Rotary’s commitment to preparedness, service, and community response.

The club was also grateful to receive the proceeds from the Zumba for a Cause from the Zinsilyos Dance Group, in support of The Greatest Gift of All – Year 33, a meaningful initiative that continues to bring hope and assistance to beneficiaries in our community.

With renewed inspiration and a shared commitment, the Rotary Club of Zamboanga City West continues to strengthen fellowship, turn plans into action, and create a lasting impact in the community.

Together, we continue to Serve to Change Lives. 💙💛

ICYMI — KUMUSTA KA, REALLY? | Mental Health & Wellness Seminar.

A meaningful evening of learning, reflection, and connection unfolded during “Green-Minded Ka Ba? Understanding the Colors of Your Mental Health,” a Mental Health & Wellness Learning and Engaging Seminar held on September 23, 2026, at the Grand Astoria Hotel, Zamboanga City.

The gathering brought together members and guests from the Rotary Club of Zamboanga City, Rotary Club of Zamboanga City West, Rotary Club of Zamboanga City North, and Rotary Club of Metro Zamboanga for an open and engaging conversation on mental health and well-being. 🌱

Through the insightful sharing of PP Elizabeth Rose Lo, participants were encouraged to look beyond the surface, become more aware of their emotions, and recognize the importance of caring for their mental, emotional, and overall well-being.

Because sometimes, the simplest question can open the door to a much-needed conversation:

“Kumusta ka, really?” 💚

May we continue creating spaces where we talk, we listen, and we care. Because the same care and kindness we so freely give to others is something we deserve to give ourselves, too. 🫶

✨ Let’s talk. Let’s listen. Let’s care.
