As part of the National Anti-Trafficking Awareness Month 2026 celebration, the Local Government Unit of Ipil, through the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), spearheaded a Mangrove Planting and Growing Activity in collaboration with the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) and in partnership with Kalambuan sa Katilingban, Inc. (KKI).
This meaningful initiative highlights our shared commitment to environmental conservation while reinforcing our advocacy for the protection of vulnerable sectors and the promotion of safe, resilient, and empowered communities.
The activity was made possible through the active participation and unwavering support of our partner agencies and stakeholders, including DOLE, OWWA, Cybercrime Unit, DSWD-SWADT, Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), Sangguniang Kabataan (SK), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP)โIpil, 102nd G IGSUON Brigade, 904th Community Defense Center (CDC), 9th Regional Community Defense Group (9RCDG), Philippine Army, 106th Infantry Battalion, VAW Desk Officers, Barangay Chairpersons and Barangay Councils, Philippine Coast Guard, Maritime personnel, NGOs, private sector partners, Philippine National PoliceโIpil Municipal Police Station (PNP-IMPS), Senior Citizens, Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), Child Representatives, volunteers, the Ipil Reformation Center for Children, MSWDO staff, Sibugay Technical Institute Inc College of Social Work, Dr Aurerlio Mendoza Memorial Colleges- Social Work and many other partners who continue to champion the cause of protection and community development.
