As the 18th day Campaign of Anti-Violence against Women and their Children (VAWC) concluded, Western Mindanao State University (WMSU), spearheaded by its Gender Research and Resource Center (GRRC) Office and the University Gender Association, successfully completed a period of advocacy and community engagement from November 25 to December 12. Operating under the national theme, "UNiTEd for a VAW-free Philippines," the campaign's core strategy involved mobilizing the entire university community, including the WMSU-CPADS Gender Club from the College of Public Administration and Development Studies, to assert that combating gender-based violence is a collective public responsibility.

The active participation of CPADS Gender Club extended to various inter-school competitions, showcasing the diverse talents and skills of its members. Notably, the preparation and collaborative efforts culminated in a major success on the academic front, where they proudly secured the CHAMPION title in the highly competitive Quiz Bowl Competition, solidifying their reputation for intellectual excellence within the district.
