The Office of Student Affairs, together with the El Consejo Atenista Vice President and the members of the Board of College Governors (BOCG), successfully conducted a courtesy visit with the University President, Fr. Guillrey Anthony "Ernald" M. Andal, SJ and Vice President for Higher Education, Fr. Rene C. Tacastacas, SJ on June 9, 2026.

The visit served as a meaningful platform for dialogue between student leaders and university administrators, allowing the BOCG to share the concerns, aspirations, and initiatives of their respective Academic Organizations. It also provided an opportunity to strengthen collaboration, foster mutual understanding, and reaffirm a shared commitment to promoting student welfare and development within the Ateneo community.

The recent earthquake and succeeding aftershocks serve as a reminder that emergencies can happen without warning. While we cannot predict disasters, we can take steps to ensure our safety and the safety of those around us.

As members of a community that values care, vigilance, and resilience, let us stay informed, prepare our emergency essentials, identify evacuation routes, and familiarize ourselves with proper earthquake response measures.
