Today, JCI Philippines joins the nation in honoring the 𝟏𝟐𝟖𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐲. 🇵🇭

Our freedom is a gift born from the courage, sacrifice, and patriotism of those who came before us. Their history reminds us that independence is not only something we celebrate but also something we protect, strengthen, and pass on.

As JCI Philippines, we continue to answer the call to serve, lead, and create positive change in our communities. Guided by our theme “Sustain the Future,” we recognize that the freedom we enjoy today carries a responsibility: to build a nation that is more united, inclusive, resilient, and hopeful for the next generation.

May our love for country inspire us to uphold our history, safeguard our freedom, and work together for a brighter Filipino future.

JCI Zamboanga's 9th General Membership Meeting at 0282 Lim's Residence, Barangay Lunzuran, brought together 18 Regular Members and 2 Guests for an evening filled with meaningful discussions, exciting updates, fresh opportunities, and renewed commitment to creating positive change.

Every seat occupied represented a leader willing to learn, serve, and grow. Every voice contributed to shaping the future of our chapter. From project updates to future plans, the energy in the room reminded us that the strength of JCI Zamboanga lies in its members who continue to show up, step up, and level up.

As we move closer to achieving our goals for 2026, we remain united by a common mission: developing leaders for a changing world while making a lasting impact in our communities.

🌊 JCI Zamboanga Joins World Oceans Day Coastal Cleanup Drive 🌊

JCI Zamboanga proudly joined forces with SM City Mindpro, SM City Zamboanga, the City Government of Zamboanga, CENRO-Zamboanga City, and various community stakeholders for the Coastal Cleanup Drive held on June 7 along R.T. Lim Boulevard in celebration of World Oceans Day.

Demonstrating our commitment to environmental sustainability and community action, JCI Zamboanga members stood alongside 925 volunteers from government agencies, academic institutions, civic organizations, and private sector partners in a united effort to protect our coastal ecosystem. Together, we helped collect 988.5 kilograms of waste from our shoreline—an inspiring reminder that collective action creates meaningful impact.

As an organization committed to creating positive change, JCI Zamboanga continues to support initiatives that promote environmental stewardship, responsible citizenship, and sustainable communities. This activity reflects the power of partnership and volunteerism in addressing environmental challenges and safeguarding our oceans for future generations.

Thank you to SM City Mindpro and SM City Zamboanga for bringing together organizations and communities in this meaningful cause. Together, we prove that when communities unite, cleaner shores and a healthier future become possible.
