Today, the VERDAD Organization joins the nation in commemorating National Heroes Day. We honor the lives and sacrifices of our national heroes who fought for our freedom, rights, and the betterment of our country.

May this day remind us that heroism is not confined to the pages of history. It lives on through our collective commitment to truth, justice, service, and the common good. May we honor our heroes not only through remembrance, but by carrying forward the principles and values for which they stood.

โ€ŽLast August 21, the VERDAD Organization gathered for a short Kumustahan session at Kamayan Grill. The event provided an opportunity for everyone to catch up, bond, and socialize with one another. It also brought out the membersโ€™ inner competitive spirit through the eventโ€™s main segmentโ€”a trivia game hosted by Trivia Night by Anoche. With a total of five teams competing, each team worked together, brainstorming and sharing ideas to answer every question.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽIn the end, Team BuLuetong, composed of Ben, Elisse, Karl, and Love, was hailed as the winner. They were followed by Team AviSarah and Team Quiztopher Columbus, which claimed second and third place, respectively. More than just a gathering, the Kumustahan served as a meaningful opportunity to strengthen the bonds among VERDAD members and create more memories together. As the organization continues to grow, may moments like these remind everyone of the importance of connection, camaraderie, and having fun as one VERDAD family.
