Yesterday, we welcomed the newest members of the BS Mathematics family through an orientation that introduced them to the people, opportunities, and experiences that will shape their college journey. The first step has been taken, and the path ahead is filled with endless possibilities.

Every great theorem begins with a first step. 💙

Yesterday, our BS Mathematics freshmen took that first step through The First Proof, officially marking the beginning of their journey in the program.

The orientation served as an opportunity for our freshmen to meet their fellow students, get to know the faculty members throughout their stay in the department. More importantly, it laid the foundation for the years of learning, collaboration, and growth that lie ahead.

As one chapter begins, may this first proof remind you that every theorem, every discovery, and every achievement starts with a single step.
