Freed from the Hands of Colonizers
As we celebrate Independence Day this June 12, 2026, we honor and remember our brave heroes who broke the chains of suffering in our very own land.
For a long time, our people lived under the harsh control of foreign rulers. Yet, they refused to give up. From big battlefields to quiet rooms where people planned for freedom, everyday men and women stood up to do great things. They gave up their safety, their comfort, and often their lives so that we could live in freedom today. Their sacrifice was the ultimate act of love for a country they dreamed of but never got to see.
Today, our fights look different. We are no longer fighting foreign armies with weapons, but we still need to protect the freedom they won for us. True independence is a journey that never stops. It shows in how we help one another, how we proud we are of our culture, and how we stay strong when we face new problems. The chains of the past are broken, but the job of keeping our nation growing and successful belongs entirely to us.
As we look at our flag flying high in the sky, let us remember that the story of our freedom is still being written and we are the ones holding the pen today.
