The official PHYSICS STUDENT ORGANIZATION of Western Mindanao State University!

WMSU PHYSOC serves as a platform for students within the physics program to actively engage, collaborate, and pursue their shared interests in physics. The Physics Students Society of WMSU, taking the abbreviation of ‘PhySoc’ is a student organization whose active officers and members are regular students currently enrolled in the university’s Bachelor of Science in Physics Program. The Physics Students Society of WMSU is defined by the University as a School Student Organization whose members belong to a particular college, in this organization’s case, the College of Science and Mathematics under the Physics Department.

‎Just like how the 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀 to make 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, Physics students from different orbitals are also bound to 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘵, 𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘦, and unleash their most 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘥 𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘷𝘦𝘴.

‎For a moment, let's set aside academic pressure and step beyond the classroom to experience the 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗺 of being part of a larger 𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱.

The most awaited event for physics students, where we connect as one, not just understanding the vast universe but also building camaraderie with one another. This year's General Assembly is themed around a major field of physics: 𝐸𝓁𝑒𝒸𝓉𝓇𝑜𝑀𝒶𝑔𝓃𝑒𝓉𝒾𝓈𝓂, where every wave is defined differently. With the theme tagline “𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐛𝐲 𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐂𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲”, it's the current or waves that drive us to our purposes in the journey we chose.
