Together with more than 500 selected DOST-SEI scholars from across the Philippines, they took part in four days of learning, leadership, service, and meaningful connections.

Earlier | DOST RO IX proudly sent off ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ž๐ง (๐Ÿ๐Ÿ•) ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ž๐ซ๐ ๐ซ๐š๐๐ฎ๐š๐ญ๐ž ๐ƒ๐Ž๐’๐“-๐’๐„๐ˆ ๐ฌ๐œ๐ก๐จ๐ฅ๐š๐ซ๐ฌ from the region's premier universities and colleges to the ๐Ÿ’๐ญ๐ก ๐๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐š๐ฅ ๐๐š๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐จ๐ญ ๐’๐œ๐ก๐จ๐ฅ๐š๐ซ๐ฌ ๐‚๐จ๐ง๐ ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ (๐๐๐’๐‚), happening at ๐“๐ก๐ž ๐…๐š๐ซ๐ฆ, ๐Š๐จ๐ซ๐จ๐ง๐š๐๐š๐ฅ ๐‚๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ from ๐’๐ž๐ฉ๐ญ๐ž๐ฆ๐›๐ž๐ซ ๐Ÿ‘โ€“๐Ÿ”, ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”. They join thousands of fellow DOST-SEI undergraduate scholars from across the Philippines.

Though fewer in number compared to other regions sending 25 or more delegates, our Region IX scholars go in just as ready and just as proud.

Under the theme "๐˜๐˜ข๐˜ค๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜จ ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ ๐˜•๐˜ข๐˜ต๐˜ช๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ: ๐˜š๐˜ค๐˜ช๐˜ฆ๐˜ฏ๐˜ค๐˜ฆ, ๐˜š๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ๐˜ท๐˜ช๐˜ค๐˜ฆ, ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜ฅ ๐˜๐˜ช๐˜ญ๐˜ช๐˜ฑ๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜ฐ ๐˜š๐˜ค๐˜ฉ๐˜ฐ๐˜ญ๐˜ข๐˜ณ", this year's NPSC aims to:

โœ… Cultivate science-driven scholar leadership among DOST-SEI scholars;๏ฟฝ
โœ… Provide an avenue for Regional Councils and scholars' organizations to share existing volunteer initiatives;๏ฟฝ
โœ… Guide scholars in identifying meaningful, ethical, and values-based directions for volunteerism in response to real community and national needs; and๏ฟฝ
โœ… Develop a gender-responsive scholars' congress that fosters equitable participation and representation of scholars from diverse backgrounds.

๐…๐ฎ๐ง ๐…๐š๐œ๐ญ: Seventeen (17) seems to be this year's lucky number for Region 9! The region sent the same number of undergraduate scholars to the recently concluded ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ” ๐’๐œ๐ก๐จ๐ฅ๐š๐ซ๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ฉ ๐‹๐ž๐š๐๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ฉ ๐‚๐š๐ฆ๐ฉ ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐๐€๐‘๐Œ๐Œ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐‘๐ž๐ ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐ˆ๐—, held in Bihing Tahik, Bongao, Tawi-Tawi last August 19โ€“23, 2026.
