On the 2nd of May, 2026, the 622nd Department of Air Science and Tactics – Ateneo de Zamboanga University ROTC Unit, proudly participated in the Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) held at Edwin Andrews Air Base (EAAB), Sta. Maria, Zamboanga City.

In this annual event, many ROTC units from various colleges and universities across the region are brought together to assess their skills as a product of their dedicated training under the evaluation of the 6th Reserved Air Center, PAF. These assessments provide an opportunity for units to showcase their military proficiency in different fields of leadership skills and tactical training that mark their readiness to serve in the world of command.

Even with limited time of training, the AdZU ROTC unit has set foot in this field of competition with determination and courage. Each cadet is equipped with a sense of duty, carrying themselves through the obstacles they face in the rounds of firing, navigation, and life support. They formed with precision and efficiency, moving upon every given command.

The AdZU ROTC would like to give thanks to the administrators, SACSI Director 𝐌𝐒 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐒𝐀 𝐌𝐀𝐄 𝐑 𝐈𝐁𝐀Ñ𝐄𝐙, NSTP Program Officer 𝐌𝐒 𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐀 𝐉𝐎𝐘 𝐋𝐎𝐒𝐀𝐁𝐈𝐀, and the AdZU ROTC coordinator, 𝐒𝐈𝐑 𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐎 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐄𝐋𝐎 𝐏𝐈𝐂𝐂𝐈𝐎 who gave their support throughout the preparations for the event, with full recognition of the military personnel in leading the training formation, and especially to the proud cadets and Advance Officers who gave their commitment in marching forward.

This marks not only the recognition of efforts and greatness that cadets hold on to their duty, but also the beginning of a forged path of determination that sets a course to future endeavors in representing the name of Ignatian Cadetship.

The ADZU ROTC Advance Officers took part in the Grade Six Recognition Day of Ateneo de Zamboanga University on April 10, 2026, rendering the Entrance of the Colors as a symbol of honor, discipline, and service.

The formation was under the command of 𝘾/𝙈𝘼𝙅 𝘼𝙉𝙂𝙀𝙇 𝙈𝘼𝙍𝙄𝙀 𝙍 𝘿𝙀 𝙇𝘼 𝙈𝙀𝙍𝘾𝙀𝘿 2𝘾𝙇, designated as Color Commander, who ensured the precise and orderly ex*****on of the ceremony.

Carrying the colors were 𝘾/𝙈𝘼𝙅 𝘼𝙃𝙈𝙀𝙀𝘿 𝘿𝙃𝘼𝙆𝙔 𝙉 𝙅𝙐𝙈𝘼𝘿𝙄𝙇 2𝘾𝙇 as Philippine Flag Bearer and 𝘾/𝙈𝘼𝙅 𝙈𝙀𝙇𝙑𝙄𝙉 𝙏𝙍𝙊𝙔 𝘼 𝙏𝘼𝙂𝙃𝘼𝙋 2𝘾𝙇 as Institutional Flag Bearer, representing national pride and institutional identity.

Assisting them were the riflemen, 𝘾/1𝙇𝙏 𝘽𝘼𝘽𝙔 𝙎𝙃𝘼𝙆𝙀𝙍𝙄𝙉 𝘼 𝙇𝙄𝙈 3𝘾𝙇 and 𝘾/1𝙇𝙏 𝙅𝘼𝙈𝙀𝘼 𝙍𝙊𝙐𝙎𝙃𝙄𝘼𝙉𝘼 𝙎 𝙍𝘼𝙅𝘼𝙃 3𝘾𝙇, who rendered ceremonial honors with professionalism and coordination.

The cadets demonstrated exemplary discipline and unity throughout the ceremony, reflecting the core values upheld by the ROTC program. Their presence added distinction and formality to the recognition rites, honoring the Grade Six Eaglets as they mark a significant milestone in their academic journey.

The PAF ROTC ADZU took part in the College of Law Graduation Rites of Ateneo de Zamboanga University on the 8th of April 2026, rendering the Entrance of the Colors as a symbol of honor, discipline, and service.
