🚫WHY THE CHURCH HIGHLY DISCOURAGE YOUNG PEOPLE TO HAVE BOYFRIEND'S AND GIRLFRIENDS AT YOUNG AGE

📌 1. Not Yet Ready for Marriage

> Relationships should lead to marriage, not just for fun or emotions.

🔹 Ecclesiastes 3:1
“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.

> There is a right time for love and marriage—not during early youth.

📌 2. Focus on God and Growth First

> Youth is a time to grow in the Lord, not be distracted by romance.

🔹 Lamentations 3:27
“It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth.

> Youth is the best time to learn discipline and grow spiritually.

🔹 Matthew 6:33
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God.

> Put God first, not romance.

📌 3. To Avoid Temptation and Sin

> Early romantic relationships can lead to lust, impurity, or immorality.

🔹 2 Timothy 2:22
“Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness.

>Avoid temptations common to young people.

🔹 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4
“For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication.

📌 4. Emotional Maturity Takes Time

> Feelings can be strong but unstable at a young age.

“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

> Guard your heart—don’t give it away too early.

📌 5. Protecting Testimony and Reputation

> A broken relationship can hurt a young person’s witness and influence.

“Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example in word, in conversation, in charity

> Young people must set a good example, not be caught in drama.

📌 6. Obeying Parents and Godly Leaders

> God gave parents and leaders to protect and guide youth.

🔹 Ephesians 6:1-2
“Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

📌 7. Waiting for God’s Perfect Time

> God’s plan for love and marriage is better than rushing into romance.

🔹 Proverbs 3:5-6
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and he shall direct thy paths.

> Let God lead you to the right person at the right time.

📌8. Be faithful faithful in the season that you are in ( ministry, study, or work )

Luke 16:10
"He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.

Young people are discouraged from entering into romantic relationships early not because love is wrong, but because it should be done at the right time, with the right purpose, and under God's guidance.
