The recent post in the Facebook on the crime committed against the poor samabajau whose houses were forcely destroyed, demolished and burned down by the powerful authorities of Sabah Malaysia a Muslim country in southeast Asia, unfortunately their arrogant act of aggression considered uncivilized and in human a great violations against human right, understandingly knowing Samabajau are powerless, harmless cannot stand to protect themselves being peace loving people, they remained calmed , silent with no resistance while the powerful government of Sabah Malaysia authorities did then and there driven them out of the place without observing the rule of law, actually the coastal area they have occupied believes to be their ancestral domain however unknowingly according to Sabah Malaysia authorities it was a protected park owned by Tun Sakaran one of the noble leaders and recognized hero of Sabah, Malaysia.
Under civilized government like Sabah Malaysia dealing with such actuation the rule of law must always prevailed Samabajau victim of their atrocities, maltreatment and abused should had been respected and treated as human being not as an animals, this people also deserving a proper protection and security by the government who should had been provided with necessary relocation and economic assistance for their living, however since they are undocumented it is uncertain whether those victim are either Malaysian and or a Filipinos but being our tribe we are mandated to help them within our owned initiative.
The crime committed by Sabah, Malaysia authorities against the samabajau caused international controversy of heartbreaking and discontentment event which was unacceptable to imagine innocent peace loving Samabajau brutally abused and maltreated under the hand of Muslim government of Sabah Malaysia . For the record throw back in our Philippines history Samabajau originally came and a native people of Johor Baru of North Borneo now Sabab, Malaysia then moving their fishing banca from one place to another searching for fish for their living untill finally has reaches and entered Philippines territory, henceforth it was impossible to believes how the government of sabah treated Samabajau like animals, hopefully the bad actuation they have shown and committed may not affect the good relationship of the Philippines Government and the government of Malaysia.
Let us be guided the Philippines indigenous people Law Republic Act 8371 of 1997 and the United Nations Charter on the protection, right and security of indigenous people particularly samabajau the sea base people are deserving to be protected and secured under the law promulgated by the government authorities , this people should had been properly assisted to assert their rights to owned coastal areas they have occupied since time immemorial served as their ancestral domain. To address human right issues and concerned of Samabajau victim of maltreatment under the hand of Sabah Malaysia government, the leadership of the Philippines Samabajau United Group will interfer to bring this matter to The Higher authorities particularly the Office of the Secretary General attention Indigenous People office of the United Nations, UN Building, New York City, USA and the Higher office of Indigenous People Station at Geneva, Sweetzeland in Europe request their honor office thru email using the video as basis to launch further inquiry or investigation on the human right issue committed by Sabah Malaysia government against the poor Samabajau whom we believes they came from Tawi Tawi of the Philippines.
The Philippines Samabajau United group is calling the attention of the Commission of Human Right of the Philippines thru email to help address the interest of Samabajau victims of abused and maltreatment committed by Sabah Malaysia and possibly held them liable and responsible to face penalty and fine within the bound of existing International United Nations Charter on the illegal treatment against the Indigenous People Samabajau victim of atrocity in Sabah Malaysian.
The herein document was formulated on the 28th day of June 2024 by the Non government organization (NGO )Samabajau United Group(SUGI )duly registered with Security Exchange Commission with office at Zamboanga City, Philippines under the leadership of Datu Rajadilaut Hussayin A. Arpa Al Haj , President of the organization this served as awareness against tyrant government of Sabah Malaysia as well as the Philippines government who failed to rescue the bad situation encountered recently by the Samabajau.
In the name of humanity hoping the UN and IP International office in Geneva Sweetzeland in Europe will be in hand to help launch further investigation against Sabah Malaysia government for the crime they have committed against indigenous people Samabajau.
