President Alian Kuly and Secretary Abdurahman Jhulsadjuri proudly represented the Muslim Youth Development Alliance – Zamboanga City Federation (MYDA-ZC) during the 3rd Regular Meeting of the Local Youth Development Council (LYDC) held on August 3, 2026 5:00PM at the City Hall Conference Room, presided over by CJ Dalipe, LYDC Chairman, City Councilor, and SK National President.
The meeting brought together various youth organizations to discuss key initiatives and programs of the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) and the LYDC. Among the agenda discussed were the LYDO-LYDC accomplishments from April to July, the opening of the new LYDO Office on August 16, 2026, updates on the Linggo ng Kabataan and International Youth Day Celebration, project proposal updates from youth organizations, and other matters concerning youth development in Zamboanga City.
During the meeting, City Mayor Khymer Olaso also called on youth leaders and organizations to continue working closely with the city government by helping identify, raise, and address the concerns of the youth in their respective communities. He emphasized the important role of youth leaders in ensuring that the voices, needs, and aspirations of young people are heard and considered in the city’s development initiatives.
MYDA-ZC actively participated in the discussions and reaffirmed its commitment to collaborating with the Local Government Unit and fellow youth organizations in advancing programs that promote leadership, volunteerism, civic engagement, and inclusive youth development. Together, we remain committed to serving the youth of Zamboanga City and contributing to a more empowered and united generation.
